Chapter Three

Everyday I go to the training area and practice my fighting with Matthew, he's the second best fighter in our clan, he will be my brother's Beta when my Father stands down as Alpha or when he dies, and he is also my chosen mate. Yeah I know what you are all thinking why has she got a chosen mate and not her true mate?? Well like I said before I looked for my mate as soon as I reached sixteen and as he was no were to be found, so I kinda well actually completely gave up on my mate, and as Matthew has never found his mate either so we have taken on each other. As soon as my brother is Alpha on the first moon he will let us mark each other to be mates, only until then will we still have our true mates, but we have both promised each other to reject them if we do come across them. My father is completely against us doing this as it's going against the moon goddess wants, and that's why we have to wait for Lucas to be Alpha, I am praying every night to the moon goddess that my Dad stands down as Alpha, but I know in my heart that will never happen.
'Pin you again babe, anyone would think you enjoy being under me babe' Matthew says with a wink, as he pins me to the floor, bringing me out of my thoughts.
'Well baby, you know how much I enjoy that in private' I laugh at him and run my hand down his right cheek, I so wished he was my mate, I can't wait to feel the mate bond with him, as it's meant to be amazing.
'Why ain't you putting up a fight today Tia? This is the third time I've pinned you today and I ain't even got a sweat on. What's on bothering you?' I love how he knows me that well, that he knows when there is something up with me.
'I had that dream again last about the day Mum died.' I give his cheek a kiss, I hate the thought of someone else being his mate, I really do.
'Awww babe why didn't you say, we could have given training a miss' Matthew says as he climbs off me, and helps me up.
'I need to train, lets go again. This time I'll make you sweat' I say with a wink, Matthew smiles back at me.
'Oh ok on three. One.... Two...'
'Rogues at the boards, warriors and men to the boards. Women and children to the safe house.' I look at Matthew, I know we both have had the same mind link message from my Father.
'Go look after the children and women help the Luna babe' I nod my head, I don't want anything to happen to Matthew, Rogues scare me so much.
'Matthew be careful' I pull at his arm making him turn and face me. He lead down and kisses me roughly, making me grab his face, he pulls away from kissing me and pushes his forehead against mine.
'I'll be back for you tonight babe I promise, I have never broken a promise to you and I ain't starting now' he turns and runs towards the pack boarder. I head in the opposite direction to the safe house, I really hope that all the warriors and men are going to be ok.
