Chapter Seventeen

'Come on sweetheart you've had a hard day' a hard day! A hard day is when training doesn't go right, this isn't a hard day this is the worse day ever scrap that, this is the joint worse day ever. I just feel numb nothing seems to matters no more, my dad is gone, my mum is gone.
'Please Tia eat' Lucas sent Luna Natalie, I mean Natalie she isn't Luna no more, up with some of my clothes and some food. We had five minutes together, she promised me she loved my Father, but she knew it wasn't her place there at his deathbed as she knew my Mum would be waiting for him, like she knows her mate will be waiting for her and not my Dad, as he was her true mate and my Dad wasn't. She did question me why I was in the pack house where all the visiting Alpha are staying, but I told her I wasn't ready to tell her yet, she did understand even though she did threaten to go and look who's flat I was staying in, Alex was in his Beta's flat while Natalie was here, apparently they have stuff to organise. Luna Natalie dammit I mean Natalie, amazes me how she thinks of others, she made sure I was a hundred percent ok before she left, even though I do still think she was trying to have a nosey at who's flat I was in. After Natalie left her situation with my Dad and her mate make me think about my situation with Matthew and Alex, could I give up Alex? I thought I could now I ain't so sure.
'Tia god dammit eat, princess you need food' Alex bring me out of my thoughts, I look up at him and take a fork full of the meal in front of me, and soon one turns into two, then three until I finish eating. I didn't realise how hungry I was.
'Thank you' Alex smiles and goes to clean up, I walk to the sofa and sit down, next to Alex's Beta. I didn't even realise he was in Alex's flat.
'Hey Tia I am second beta and half brother Max' he holds out his hand.
'Nice to meet you Max' I shake his hand, we hear a growl coming from the kitchen.
'Um I've got to go my room and check on our pack and keep them inform on what is happening here please excuse me'
'Oh no thats fine' I give him a little smile he bows and walks out of the room, Alex storms into the living room.
'I don't like another male touching you, it's bad enough when your brothers do it, and now Mac can't keep his hands to himself. I can feel your anxious babe' that's because I am I wanted to say something back, but I bite my tongue, I mean who gets upset because of a hand shake.
'Do you want a shower?'
'No Alex I am fine' he laughs to himself,
'I am hoping in, I won't be long'
I end up watching some crap on tv while Alex has his shower, he comes out in just a towel and I keep my eyes on the tv, I mean he has some serious abs but I ain't being accused of looking. I feel him sit beside me on the sofa and I instantly feel a pull to him.
'Stop fighting it' Alex whispers.
