You Were My End

You see my face but not my cut skin

I hide from you out of fear

Judgment happens fast and quick

It's easy to hide when you know no one cares

Everything you ever said to me was a lie

I see through you, but you look through me

Never say I never cared

You were my best friend

Betrayal hurts more than this cut

Blood drips down my arm, numbing the pain

I can escape for now

I write this in my own blood

By the time you find it I'll be gone

Gone for good

You can tell everyone you miss me

Yet we both know the truth

You hate me

Almost as much as I refuse to hate you

Let this show

I was my beginning

But you?

You were my end....
