"My Only Friend"
"So wake me up from this nightmare that I'm in...."
The voices are draken louder and order; I tell them to calm down, but that only makes them cry out louder.
They tell me that there real; that I shall never be crazy, and sadly I believe them.
So I look to you to find the truth; what you say say is what I do.
The doctors say I'll be alright if I just take my pills and forget our plight, maybe I should listen to him.
So I do just that and forget about you, but then you whisper one last truth; I gasp aloud and begin anew.
For I've been told, he was untrue. What he whispered in my ear couldn't have been true.
"They're all just as f*ucked up as you...."
How could this possibly be true? For they are smarter, and much prettier too.
Could this be true? How must he know this? I can't believe they've treated me so....
I've always knew this day would come....
For you, the voice in my head, will always be; my one and only true friend, until the very end.
