Clara 's POV
i was scared, shaking. My mind and my heart were racing.. Trying to digest in what just happened as Markhal pulled me out of the restaurant. I know that the guy was annoying and creepy but i didn't expect Markhal to react like he just did. 

He ushered me to the car and opened he door for me and helped me in because my legs were not cooperating with me.. I didn't even know how i managed to stop him.

He got to his side and started the engene. He reached for my hand and his jaw clamped.
"Your freezing" he said, his voice laced with concern and suprise. He turned the heater on, even though it was hot outside. He pulled out of the restaurant parking lot.
I looked at him and his handsome face was serious with his jawline muscles jumping from time to time. I knew then that he was still angry, but his touch said a different thing. Soft, as he carressed my hand, sending tingles up my arm.

I leaned on my seat taking in a deep breath, i closed my eyes and let the tingles help me relax.

Markhal's POV
Oh.. I scared her, i just lashed out. My delicate little mate.. I held her hand just to gain back control.. She helps me cool down.

I heard her faint steady heart beat, she was asleep. Her eye lashes kissed her beautiful cheeks, nose cute with a slightly parted plump lips.... Goddess, she is soo perfect. I don't even deserve her. She is innocent and pure.. Oh.. Soo pure and precious and rare like the morning light she has brought a smile and the drive to live on.

For a couple of days i haven't been able to sleep because of her scent on my bed. I tried but i could to the point where i had to sneak into her room at night to watch her sleep every night. I know that it's not good but for 2000 years i lived without her and now i realise that she was the one thing that has been missing in my life.

I drove to the pack house and carried her upstairs to my room. She was soo tiny that she fit perfectly into my arms.

I watched her as she breathed softly. My wolf has been ansty about us marking her and making her ours but i didn't want to scare her. I had to give her some time.

I went to take a quick cold shower to help me ease the desire i have for her. I have been suppressing the desire to take her ever since i saw her on my bed but i have restraint and i should be careful because she is a human mate not a wolf.

When i got out of the shower i grabbed my jeans and put them on and went out with my t shirt on my hand. I collided with Clara who appered sleepy but i was quick to catch her.

Her hand was on her mouth to concile her screaming. Her beautiful chocolate brown eyes were wide with shock. When she realized that i caught her, she took off her hand to support herself with my arm.

I shallowed as my eyes were on her slightly open pink lips, i tried to restrain myself from claiming those lips but even being this close to her with her scent all over i was fighting for control.

Dammit

I leaned closer and captured her lips. Sparks flew immediately, soo sweet. I poked with my tongue for invitation and she opened for me. I came in slowly. Then i picked her up and immediately her arms were on my neck. I sat her on my lap and and tilted her head to the side in order to deepen the kiss. Her hands were in my hair massaging..

Oh goddess, she is soo sweet. . In the middle of it all i got my senses back and i managed to pull back and i earned a whimper from Clara.

I looked at her but her eyes were shut.

"look at me, " i took her chin up so that i could see her eyes.

She opened her eyes and boy what i saw left me breathless.

" Clara!? " He called for her but she didn't answer.
