"Aria! Aria no!" I yell as she gasps and blacks out. I panic when I can no longer see her chocolate brown eyes. That can't be the last time I see them. A choked sob leaves my mouth as I hold Aria's still figure and wait for the ambulances to come.

Paul shot at Aria and quickly ran away, forcing me to make a decision. Go after him or save Aria. The decision wasn't a hard one but I'm scared it won't be enough. I've never been so scared in my life.

I might truly lose absolutely everything I hold dear in my life. Martin came in but was taken by surprise by Sanchez. He was shot in the shoulder but still fought Sanchez hand to hand. Only he couldn't fight well and Sanchez grew up on the streets. He knew how to fight too. He knocked Martin out and was about to kill him when Megan burst through the door with Aria. She brought both of them to the ground and shot Sanchez.

Then all hell broke loose. Guards kept coming and wouldn't stop. Megan fought them off flawlessly like only she could do while keeping Aria safe. Then the dull click rang louder than any gunshot. My heart dropped as Megan announced she was out of ammo and told Aria to cover her.

I wanted desperately to do something. I couldn't stand sitting there helplessly as Aria shakily raised the gun. It looked so wrong in her hands. Aria so gentle and small with something so lethal. I was terrified she would get hit but she was amazing.

I mentally slapped myself for getting slightly turned on in that situation. I couldn't help it though. The girl I loved looking so badass. I calmed down a bit seeing how she hit every one of the guards. Then one came out from nowhere. I thought for sure there was no stopping the incoming bullet. Then miraculously the guard dropped dead. It wasn't Megan because she was fighting one guard that got by. I waited tensely to see who this providential savior was and my heart stopped as Paul came through the door.

My blood began to boil. I wanted to kill him slowly just so he would understand a small percent of the pain he put me through by killing my parents. Now I want to kill him even more for taking the three most important people in my life.

Martin is still unconscious with his shoulder bleeding. Megan was shot in the back. A pool of blood now surrounds her. I placed my hand on her back as I held tightly to Aria. I'm too afraid to feel for a pulse in case I'm met with nothing.

Finally I hear the sirens coming. The sound grows louder as they approach. Doors slam and footsteps pad loudly on the ground.

"We're here!" I yell as loudly as I can. "Help! In here!"

Three paramedics knock the door down and more follow. They lower stretchers and run Megan and Martin out of the room. A pair of two stop in front of me.

"Sir, you have to let her go," one of the paramedics tell me.

I hesitate as I look down at Aria. I just got her back.

"Sir, she needs help. You can ride in the ambulance," he says.

I nod and open my arms so they can put Aria on the stretcher. Then they run out with me sprinting after them. The paramedics don't seem alarmed by the large amount of bodies we encounter as we run out. Some are checking if anyone is still alive. For sure I'll be questioned about this later, but right now all I care about are my friends and Aria.

I jump into the back of the ambulance and then we're off in a harried parade to save three people. I look out the back window and see we're far from the city by the warehouse district. The paramedics are shouting at each other as they hook Aria to this and that. She has an oxygen mask on her mouth and one of the men are pressing on the Aria's stomach to staunch the bleeding. All I can do is stay seated as I hold her hand tightly.
