You continue following the trail, you couldn't promise Danse you'd be careful, it is you after all. However did try and avoid danger, unfortunately there were quite a few super mutants you had to deal with, but you being you, you took care of them pretty easily. You reach the old north church and smile sadly to yourself, you remember walking past it a few times before the war, it was so nice. You sneak in and walk quietly into the main room, pews scattered everywhere, you know there are things hiding in amongst them. You quickly look to the side and see a feral goul getting up, oh how the noises disgusted you. You shot it in the head and it went limp.
You reach the end of the scary basement and find some sort of... code thing? You rub it and it spins. "Hmm.. it spins." You say, you think for a moment and turn it to R, it clicks "So it is some kind of code, smart." And you being the smart little chicken you are quickly figured it out and the rocks open. You smile proudly and walk in, not long after big lights blind you. "Who are you and how did you find us?" A lady says. You look around at everyone, they look kinda tough... "Hey calm down I'm nice. I just wanna talk about a courser chip. A woman named Dr Amari said you could help decode it?" You say, sounding as nice as possible. She goes silent. "How did you get that?" You go to speak but someone enters, "We having some sort of party? What gives with my invitation?" The man says, he looks...slightly familiar, Diamond City comes into mind for some reason. "Deacon you're late." The lady says sternly. She seems like a tight ass... you think. "Yeah sorry Des, and hey look who it is, the courser killer." He says, smiling at you, you scrunch your face up slightly with confusion. "Wait, so you actually killed a courser?" She asks, I smile and nod "I don't know... I mean we do hate coursers but we don't know anything about you." "Come on Des she killed a courser! I think she deserves to be let in." You smile at Deacon and nod at the woman, she thinks for a moment. "I hope you realize how much of a risk we're taking letting you into our headquarters." You smile and nod "Of course" you walk up to her and look at Deacon "Thanks." You whisper and follow the woman, "My name is Destimona, I run this little organization of ours." She stops at a door "Before we go in I wanna make this clear, we don't know you, so we'll all be keeping a close eye on you. Also don't touch anything." You nod and she opens the door... "This is Tinker Tom, he can crack this courser chip open." You wave at him "A courser chip? For real? Thats awesome? I can crack this baby right open." He says "Great! That would be amazing!" You smile and Destimona turns to face you, "We will get the code for you, but in exchange we get to keep the courser chip, deal?" She holds out her hand and you nod "Seems fair, go nuts." You give the chip to her and she gives it to Tinker Tom.
After a short while he loads the code onto a holotape, you try not to cry, you're just so close to finding Shaun! "Thank you, thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me." To put the holotape away and smile at everyone, Destimona, Tom and Deacon all smile at you. "I really should be going now though, I need to get back home. Thanks again so so much guys!" You smile and run out. "You know, she actually seems really nice, think I underestimated her." Destimona says, crossing her arms as she watches you run out "Oh you have nooo idea." Deacon answers, smirking.
"I got it I got it I got it!" You yell, running into Danses room and jumping onto him "I got the code!" Danse sits up and rubs his head smiling, "Well you're excited, glad it went well." He pokes your cheek and sits you on his lap, "They did a thiiing a-and another thing a-and boom! They got the code riiiight out!" You giggle and nuzzle your head into his neck, he chuckles lightly "You sound like a child." He laughs and you lift yourself up, scrunching your face up "I'm not a child." You pout and smirk, "Ahhh yes you arreee!" He pokes at your sides and you laugh "Danse stooooop! Haha!" He grabs your arms gently and pulls you down so your face is close to his "Only if you kiss meee~" he sings, smirking. You smile and shrug. You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him passionately, he wraps his around your waist and kisses back softly. You both smile into the kiss... after a while you break for air and laugh a little together. "You're a really good kisser Danse." You smile and poke his nose, "That's great to hear considering I've never done it before." He giggles and you gasp dramatically "Nooooo I don't believe it! You've never kissed anyone before??" He shakes his head and smiles "How does a hunk of man like you not get their first kiss?? Like daannggg!" Danse then chuckles "Well I feel honored to have you as my first kiss." You lean your forehead on his and giggle a little "I'm glad, and I love you." He blushes even more then he was before and kisses you again quickly "I love you too, I also love that this room is quite sound proof." You both laugh a bit "Well that comes in handy." You wink and get up, his eyes widen and he blushes eVeN mOrE! You smirk and lean your back on the door with a hand on the handle, "Goodnight Danse." You poke your tongue out and leave a very flustered Danse by himself.
