Chapter 8- Oh damn

Jakes Pov-
Alissa texted me. When i saw her name i felt a sadness shock in my body.

The First Text;
Alissa: Hey Jakey! How are you doing? We should facetime tonight?! I miss you 💜

I didn't know what to reply.

Erika: Babe, what she say?
Jake: She wants to talk tonight.
Erika: *sighs* Oh.
Jake: Rik. I miss her.

Erika's POV-
When he said that, i stepped back and almost shed a tear. But i know he didn't mean to hurt my feelings. I slowly walk back to the bed and sit down.

E: you should call her.
J: What? I can't. It'll kill me. Talking to her.
E: ...
J: *walks back to Erika* Plus i have you babe.
E: Oh.
J: What's wrong?
E: Nothing.
J: Erika..
E: Jake.

Jakes POV-
I noticed that Erika wasn't feeling good. She seemed sad or something. Then i realized that i had said that I missed Alissa.

shit. I thought to myself. I needed to show Erika that I liked her more than Alissa.

J: Baby?
E: *Looks up*
J: I'm sorry. I didn't mean make you feel less. I don't 'miss' Alissa. I think i'm just still hurt that she left me. *looks down and frowns*

Erika walks over to me and pulls me into a hug. She rubs my back and kisses the top of my head lightly.

E: It's okay Jake. I just want you for myself. I shouldn't get jealous, because your not mine. But i do.
J: Babe, I am yours? I'm all yours.
E: And I yours.

We start to make out and Erika pulls out of the kiss to ask me a serious question.

Erika's POV-
I thought to myself...There won't be a better time than now.

E: Jake, What are we?
J: .... What do you mean?
E: Do you like me? Or is this just a fling?
J: Rik, I love you. Where is this coming from?

Both of our eyes widen when we realized what he said.
Jake just said he loved me.

J: Uh... I mean.
E: Jake! I love you too.
J: Really?
E: *smiles and goes in for another kiss*
J: So i guess that leaves one thing.
E: What might that be?

Jakes Pov-
I knew this was the perfect time to do what i've been wanting to do for a while now.

J: Erika, *he stands up and grabs her hands to make her stand up too* These past few weeks, or months now, have been great with you. You helped me at my lowest times, and stayed with me through it all. And i've seen you naked, AND OH DAMN YOU ARE HOT AF
*erika hits him in the arm playfully*
J: ouch! Anyways, I want to say thank you and wanted to ask... Erika Costell, will you be my girlfriend?

E: Oh my gosh! Jake! Yes!!
