Chapter 17- Blank Face

Tessa's Pov-
I knew Erika was mad at the fact that Kelly was coming. But Kelly wanted to come and I want to be her friend. I want Erika and Kelly to be friends.
Kelly is sweet, and pure.

T: So you don't like Kelly?
E: It's not that i don't like her. I just don't care much for her. I don't understand why everyone is fond of her.

I could feel Erika heating up.

T: Look, she's nice. She doesn't have friends so we should be there for her. Plus i think she's gonna be a great addition to the Cheer team.

Erika's eyes grew.

E: What do you mean? Is she on the team?
T: Well Coach had her try out, and she made team for basketball season.
E: Oh, so i guess i have to start to like her.
T: Yup!
E: Wait, did you hear that we have to cheer for soccer this year?
T: Soccer?
E: Yeah, soccer wants cheerleaders so we get an extra sport season!
T: Great! So we have to make up cheers for soccer?
E: Well.. As co captains. Yes, that job would be on us!
T: Great. *says sarcastically* Anyways..
E: How are you and Chance?
T: Good. Hey I have a question..
E: Shoot.

Erika's POV-
When Tessa Said she has a question she had guilt in her face.

T: Have you and Jake.. uhm...
E: Have we what?
T: You know, some things? *says so innocently*
E: Had sex?
T: Yeah.
E: Yes we have multiple times. Why? Have you & Chance?
T: Well he wants to.
E: And you don't?
T: I do. But it'll be my first time. Idk E, I'm scared. I want to have sex with him. But i'm so scared.
E: Aw, Tessa.

I go over to her and hug her.

E: Jake was my first time.
T: He was?
E: Yes T! I think if you just talk to chance, he'll understand.
T: I can't. I can't i'm too scared. What if he doesn't want to take my virginity. He'll think i'm a loser who doesn't know how have sex.
E: Look, I'll talk to Chance tomorrow. And I'll tell him that you want to take it slow.
T:  Really? You'd do that!?
E: Of corse T.

Tessa smiles and then she talks a little more about how she loves Chance. I zone out a little to be honest.

T: So how was your first time, with Jake?
E: Huh? Oh.. It was good. We actually weren't even dat-

I stop myself and put my hand over my mouth.
Shit. I almost or maybe did blow our cover.

T: You weren't dating the first time you had sex with Jake?!?!
E: What? Who said that... I said it was great. Made me feel special.
T: YOURE LYING! ERIKA COSTELL YOU BETTER TELL ME THE TRUTH RIGHT NOW
E: Fine.

I had to tell her. Luckily i knew i could trust Tessa. She wouldn't judge. I told her everything.

T: Wow. It's kinda cute. So when was the last time you two "hung out"
E: Like the night we went to eat after the trampoline park. In his car.
T: Wow, now i know why they call you Tricky Rik.
E: Yup. Haha

Tessa and I laugh. We put on a movie and then we sit and watch. During the movie Tessa pauses it and looks at me with a serious way.

T: Erika, I have to tell you something.
E: What's up T?
T: You can't tell anyone i told you this. Mostly because Chance told me but, don't tell anyone. Especially Jake or Anthony.

I grew curious. I sit up and raise my eyebrow.

E: Is Jake cheating on me?!
T: What no?! Anthony has a HUGE crush on you.

My face went blank.

T: Erika, i thought you should know, because were all having a sleepover tomorrow night.
E: Wow but i thought he liked Kelly? He told me during home room today?
T: He's using her. Please don't tell anyone i told you!
E: I mean i won't but thanks for telling me T.

We smile at each-other and resume the movie.
After the movie T and I fell asleep in her bed. I was still so shocked about Anthony.
