Chapter 48- The Results

Erika's POV-
Jake was holding my hands. i was so nervous. I was about to go in his moms office and see if i really am pregnant. I was going to take home pregnancy test but, i'd rather see my baby for the first time on the ultrasound and not from a stick.
J: Babe calm down, it's gonna be fine.

I told Jake yesterday that if I am pregnant, I will keep the baby. And raise it to be the best mini me or mini Jake.

I smiled at him and kept bouncing my leg waiting to be called.
Finally I saw Pam's head stick out one of the rooms.
P: Jake.. Erika.. We are ready for you.

I got up and Jake grabbed my hand and led me to the room.
When we get in the Pam asks me to sit up on the chair. I do and she lays me back.
P: So Jake, If this is real, your sticking by her side. Right? Because i didn't raise no punk. You don't run away from your responsibil-

Jake cut her off.
J: Of course mom. I didn't plan on skipping town.

I awkwardly giggle. Pam squirts the gel on to my stomach and starts moving the transducer around my stomach. We wait for a couple of second and then we hear something.
It was a heartbeat. But it wasn't mine.
P: There it is. Your baby's heartbeat.

I start to form tears in my eyes. They were tears of joy.
P: OH MY GOSH IM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA

At this point i'm balling tears. I sit in silence for a minute and listen to my angels heartbeat.
I look over at Jake and he has a big smile on his face. He has his palm holding up his chin and his fingers resting right under his bottom lip.
E: We are gonna be parents.
J: We are, together.
P: So do you know how far along you are?
E: No?
J: Can you tell us mom?
P: Lets see... Looks like your nine weeks along!
E: A little over 2 months?!
P: Yes ma'am.

My eyes widen. It's definitely Jakes then. Not that I had a doubt. (A/N: This is my confirmation with you guys! It is Jakes baby)

P: Any questions?
E: When will be able to find out the sex?
P: Usually you find out when you're 16-20 weeks along, so not that much longer.
J: Speaking of sex..

Both Pam and I look over at him. I have a 'please don't ask that' face on.
P: Yes Jakey, you can still have sex.

He smiles and I nervously smile at Pam.
P: Let me clean you off, so you guys can get out of here.
E: Thanks for doing this Pam.
P: Oh please, call me Mom.

I chuckle and get up from the chair.
Pam handed me the ultrasounds pictures of my little baby bean.
I held them and my other hand was over my heart.
I tear up.
I am so ready for this. I'm excited and a little scared about delivering. But i know i can do this. Especially with Jake by my side.

We cleaned up and left back to my house.
J: So are we gonna do one of those cute announcements?
E: Haha, i mean if you want.
J: Erika I'm so excited for this baby.
E: Me too babe.

OKAY SO SHES PREGGO! Can I get a couple of baby names? For both a girl and a boy.. Not sure which it'll be just yet. Comment cute names!
