Chapter 4- After School Kiss?

Jakes POV-
It was already after school and I felt bad about Alissa so i skipped Football practice. Just then I remembered Alissa wanted to leave tomorrow morning, and she left early today. I went to her house when i spotted her packing her stuff into her car.

J: Alissa. Please, can we talk about this? You can stay with me just until the rest of the school year? Or even semester?
A: Jake, I'm sorry. But i really want to go to California. The weather, beaches, not to mention modeling agencies are better there. Please, if you truly love me let me go.

As soon as she said those last eight words, i had knew that i lost her. I had finally accepted her leaving. I didn't want it to happen but i knew it was going to. And there was absolutely nothing i could do about it.
I walked up to Alissa and held her tight, as i knew this could possibly be the last time I see her.

J: I'll miss you Liss.
A: I'll miss you to Jakey. And i'll come and visit.
J: Love you Alissa. I always have, always will.

With that i kissed her goodbye, and wanted to hang out with someone to get my mind off things. I decided to text Erika. Because she's the closet female friend i have. I texted her as soon as i left Alissa's house.

J: Hey Rik. Wanna hang out? I need a girlfriend right now.
J: sorry i need a **girl friend
E: Uhh... Yeah i get out of cheer practice at 5:00.
J: My house fine?
E: Yeah, I'll go right after practice.
J: Alright, I'll see you then Tricky Rik 😉
E: haha, you haven't called me that in years.. I'll see you too Jake the Snake.

Erika's POV-
I got out of cheer practice and headed straight to the locker rooms to get a quick shower and change so I could get to Jake ASAP.
T: Hey E, Chance and I are going to see a movie, so i don't need a ride today.
E: Alright T, I'm going to Jakes anyways.
T: Jake? Why are you going there?
E: He just wanted to hang out?
T: Mmhhhmmm, sure "hang out"
E: Tessa! He's still in a relationship, I wouldn't do anything to hurt Alissa!
T: Sure, let's not forget why your nickname is 'tricky rik'

I drop my jaw in shock. I soon leave and get to Jakes house by 5:30. I pull in the driveway and get out to knock on his door. Jake and I have always been close friends, but not like best friends. If that makes sense. Him and Alissa would come to me about their problems so we always had a good relationship.
As soon as i go to knock on the door, Jake opens it and pulls me into a hug. I could tell he was upset and wanted to cry. I hug him back and after a while he lets go and leads me to his room.
He sits on the bed and i follow.

E: What's wrong Jake?
J: She's gone. For real this time Rik. She left.

He buries his face in my neck as he wants to cry. I wrap my arm around him and pat his back.

E: I take it you went to see her after school?
J: Yeah i skipped practice to catch her. She ended things between us, it was all civil and good. But it just hurts so bad.
E: Yeah, I know Jake, but if you really loved her you'd want the best for her.

Jakes POV-
When Erika said that, I lost it. I pull out of the hug and look into her eyes, without saying a word. In that moment i felt something in the pit of my stomach.

E: What's wro-

Before she could finish her sentence, i cut her off with a kiss. I pressed my lips against hers, and at first she didn't kiss back, but after a little bit, she did. The kiss got more intense and soon our tongues met.

Erika's POV-
I was sitting in Jakes room kissing him. I don't know why i was kissing back. I didn't like him, it just felt like the thing to do. We kissed for a while until his tongue licked my lips, and i let him slip his tongue in my mouth. Our tongues got to know each other until i realized it was going to far. I pulled away quickly.

E: Jake, what was that?
J: I don't know, you tell me!
E: You kissed me?
J: You kissed back?!
E: Jake, you kissed me because you missed Alissa. Not because you liked me.
J: Erika. It was in the heat of the moment. I didn't mean to. But don't act like you didn't like it, okay? I felt your tongue, dancing in my mouth.

I looked away in embarrassment. I stay quite for a second and then start to giggle.

Jakes POV-
After the kiss Erika put her head down and i can tell she had just regretted the kiss. I soon start to hear her laugh.

J: what's so funny?
E: You shoved your tongue down my throat first.
J: Whatever, you let me...

There was an odd silence in the room until i felt Erika's eyes staring at me. and soon felt her hands on my thighs.
