Chapter 39- Just Friends.

Jakes POV-
My heart fell into a million pieces when Erika said that she had mixed emotions for me. It felt as if someone were to stab me in the heart. Just like when Alissa left me.
All i wanted to do was cry. I went upstairs to her room to lay on the bed and try to sleep my emotions away.

Erika's POV-
I went to open the door and everyone finally arrived. I wanted to get my mind off what just happened and Chad did that for me. He brought booze and I was kind of excited to drink. I know i'm underaged but it's just a great way to not feel any emotions or feelings.
Makenzie and Kade asked if they could get a room and i told them of corse and to chose whichever one. They went to sleep.
It was me, Chance Tessa, Chad and Sarah.
Soon Tony came down.

Tessa: Hey Rik, Can i shower?
E: Yeah ofc T.
Chad: Hey i got to drop off Sarah at her house, I'll be back later tonight.
Chance: Alright, don't have to much fun.
Tony: WEAR A CONDOM

Chad and Sarah left and Tessa went upstairs and it was just just me, Chance and Tony. We started drinking and after a couple of bottles, i was wasted. We all were i think a little.

Tony: So Rik. How are things with you and my boy Jake?
E: Honestly. I've been meaning to talk to someone about some things that have been on my mind.
Chance: you can tell us Rik. We won't tell
Tony: Yeah to be honest, we probably won't remember either.
E: I think i'm losing feelings for him. Just a little.
C: WHAT YOU CANT JERIKA FOR LIFE
T: Yeah, and he really likes you rik.
C: Well what makes you think you're losing feelings?
E: We don't hang out as much anymore. He rarely has time for me anymore. He's always with you two losers. And we haven't had sex in about a week or so.

Chance and Tony got wide-eyed. I think they were shocked.

T: So my boy does smash?
C: Tony you're missing the point, SHE THINKS WE ARE LOSERS.
T: Oh yeah i did hear that part.
E: What should i do guys. You two are his bestfriends. You know him better than i do.
T: Well if you leave him...
C: it'll break his heart. Kinda like the Alissa thing.

Just then someone behind us spoke up.

?: She already did.

I turn around to see Jake standing staring at us.
E: Jake!
J: No it's fine. At least i know how you really feel.

With that he goes to a room downstairs and locks the door. I chase after him hoping that he's willing to talk. I almost trip because i'm still a little tipsy and manage to get to the room door.
I knock on the door and yell from the other side of the door.

E: Jake. Please. Open the door.
J: ...
E: Jake Really. Can we talk about this?

He still didn't answer. I go to punch in the room number code and open the door. When i got in i see Jake laying on the bed. I close the door behind me and walk over and sit next to him. I rub his back trying to comfort him.

E: Jake. Please
J: ...
E: Fine, if you don't want to talk, then i guess.. Just listen. I've been really confused lately. Being around you  these past couple of weeks has been good. But it's not like the rest of the times i'm with you. When i used to see you I'd get so happy and warm inside. I loved to be by your side all the time. Now i don't feel that. I'm still happy you're around but i'm not sure if I feel like we are meant for eachother anymore.

Jake pick his head up from the pillow and looks me in my eyes.
J: So you don't.
E: Don't what bab- Jake?
J: Love me. You don't love me anymore?
E: I'm sorry.
J: So what do you want to do about it?

I put my head down and fittle with my fingers.

J: I still love you Erika.

I start to shed a couple of tears.
J: But i think if you're not in it.. We should break up.
E: But we can still be friends, right?
J: Of corse.

We both lean in for a hug and kisses my forehead.
We both went downstairs and started hanging out with the Chance and Tony

T: are y'all okay?
J: We're friends.
C: Not boyfriend and girlfri-

I cut him off.
E: Nope, just friends.
