Chapter 35- Why wait?

Erika's POV-
After the ceremony, the gang and I all head back to my house to set up for the party and change into different clothes.
I said anyone was invited, but honestly I hope not a lot of people come. Less people means less drama.
When we get to my house, the boys set up tables outside and the music/speakers and blow up inflatables for the pool. As the girls and I set up the food/snacks/alcohol in the kitchen and party favors around the house. The last thing I had to do was block off the upstairs part of the house. I didn't want people up there messing with mine or my fathers stuff.
So i put a lock on the door for the upstairs part.

E: Hey guys... If for any reason you need to go upstairs tonight, the code for the door is 0911. I locked it so no rando would be snooping upstairs.
Chance: Man i cant wait. It's gonna be a lit-uation at the Costell house.

I smile and get back to what i was doing. We all finish up and then we all go to get dressed into something different.
I was in my room undressing when Jake came in and walked up to me slowly.

J: You remember the code word.. Right?
E: Red.

We both smiled and he kissed me.

J: God I can't wait to hang out with you tonight.
E: Why wait?
I smirk.

I smile and try not to turn red in embarrassment. Luckily i'm cut off by a doorbell. I go to open in and at least 30 kids come in.
Doorbell after doorbell, it seemed as if the number of people in a crowd showing up, grew to more and more.
Soon the whole school was basically here.
Everything was going good. There were kids in the pool, playing chicken. There was kids in the kitchen, playing beer pong. There were kids out back smoking weed. I didn't care. Everything was going good. Not to mention the music was great. There was people dancing everywhere. Everyone was laughing. Tessa and I got crazy drunk first.
We started dancing and that's when two random guys asked if we wanted to dance. I declined and said i had to pee but Tessa agreed.
When i got back Chance was yelling loud.

Chance: WTH MAN THATS MY GIRL WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING HER LIKE THAT?
?: Yo she was dancing on me man.
Chance: And what? you don't know she has a boyfriend?
?: The way your girl act ain't my problem man. if she's a hoe, she a hoe.

Then i seen Chance throw a couple of punches. I couldn't make the guy out but I knew that more people would equal more drama. Not that being wasted helped any...
