Chapter 34- Dad?

******Graduation Night******
Erika's POV:
I'm so excited today is the day i graduate from high school. I have a big day. I'm getting my hair and makeup done with Tessa, Rocky Sarah and Mackenzie this morning and then at 2pm we are meeting with the boys for graduation. We walk the stage at 5. And then i'm having a grad party at my house at 8.
I woke up at 8 and immediately got into the shower. I showered, dried off and changed into a track suit. I texted the girls to see if they were ready for me to pick them up. They all said yes.
I go to pick up Tessa first, and she too took a shower this morning. I didn't get breakfast so Tessa brought me a yogurt with fruit and granola.

E: You're a goddess
T: Only for the best.

I smile at her and we go to pick up the others. As we arrive to the saloon we see the same chick i got into a fight with last week.
I glaze at her and we make eye contact. We both gave each other a dirty glare.
I was a bit annoyed but i wasn't gonna let this girl ruin my day.

Rocky: so like what time is your party rik?
E: should start around 8..
Sarah: How big is it gonna be?
E: I mean, it was open invite so, maybe a couple.. maybe the whole school.
Tessa: Did anyone else announce a grad party?
Mackenzie: Yeah one guy but the location is like an hour drive from where we are. So i'm not sure if anyone will actually go and drive an hour.
E: well hopefully everything goes good tonight/today

We finish our hair and i got mine trimmed and a little bit lighten. I loved it. Tessa did a drastic change. She cut her hair short and dyed it black. It looked so cute on her. The other girls cut, dyed and styled their hair for graduation.
With every second passing by, I got more nervous about walking stage.
As we finish up the makeup we all pay and leave.
Soon it's two and the boys knock on my door. Mackenzie opens it and i go downstairs to see them all.

Chad: LIT you're having a grad party after graduation? How come i didn't know about it?
Chance: Yeah what the hell rik, were you not gonna invite?
E: I told you guys a long time ago.?!
Tony: OHHHH YEAH SHE DID
Chance: She did?
Kade: Yeah it was the day that Sarah spilled Grape Juice on Chads white vans. Remember he was freaking out the whole day?

Everyone laughs.

Jake: It's gonna be great Erika.
E: Thanks.

I go over to him and he puts his arm around my shoulder. I smile and Tessa walks down the stairs.

Chance: HOLY SHIT BABE
Tessa: Is it too much??
Chance: I wanna strip you down right now.

The boys turn to Tessa and applauds her hair. Us girls laugh at the fact that their exaggeration. Tessa blushes and walks over to chance.

E: So we should get changed so we can take a couple of pictures?
Everyone: Down.

We all go to separate rooms to change.

Jake: So is your dad coming?
Erika: Uh, no he can't make it unfortunately..

I tear up a little trying not to mess up my makeup..

J: Babe.
He walks over to me and hugs me tight.
J: Look i'm sure he really wants to be here.
E: Yeah dad of the year.
J: Erika, I know he isn't a bad dad.. He's supported you all your life. And he did that by working his ass off.
E: yeah, i guess you're right. Plus, i have another daddy..

I raise my eyebrow and he turns his face to the right trying not to laugh.
He looks so damn cute.

J: We really need to hang out soon. I miss your body.
E: If i didn't have makeup on right now, you would be on my bed with no clothes on.

I bite my lip and he kisses me rough. The kiss gets more and more intense until i back away.

E: Jake my lipstick!
J: Worth it.
He walks back to the bed and puts on his cap and gown over his suit.
He goes to the mirror and checks himself out. I'm still getting my cap on and he speaks up still admiring himself in the mirror.

J: So we hanging out tonight?
E: I have a party to host Jake.
J: So after the party?
E: For sure.

We both grin and walk downstairs to take a couple of group & couples shots. They turned out even better than the prom ones.

Once we're done we go to leave for graduation. We get to the ceremony and we all somehow got to sit next to eachother.

As each of us got called to walk across stage, out parents and the gang both yelled out for us.

Oh man did gearing my name and walking up feel so good. As i was walking across I stop to take a picture with administration and i glance at the audience to see Jake and my dad both applauding me aside eachother. They had a good relationship. And when i saw them both screaming for me I couldn't help but crack a great big smile.

When i got off stage and everyone else was called I walked over to my dad to hug him.

E: DAD! What are you doing here?
ED: I had gotten a call from a Mr. Paul saying that you really wanted me to come, so i had to take off the afternoon.
E: Dad! Omg

I hug him!

ED: You did it Erika, i'm so proud of you.
E: Thanks dad for everything.
ED: I love you Rikky. I have to leave soon for work again. I'm sorry love bug.
E: It's fine dad i'm just glad you're here.

We talked little and then said our goodbyes.
As my dad left, Jake came up behind me and hugged me.

J: We are done
E: Finally. No more work, No more teachers! We are finished with school.

He smiles. I turn to peck his lips and we both walk back to the car and to my house.
I'm so lucky to have a guy like him. He's literally the best boyfriend.
