Hawk perked up his ears when he saw Gwennie storm into the Healer's den.

"I had a dream." She stated. "And I was drowning."

Rock sighed. "Everyone has a dreamie now and then."

Ripple stepped over. "Yes, drowning dreams are not special."

"It was about Hawk!" Gwennie shouted. "Hawk is evil! I just know it!"

Ripple sighed even harder than Rock had. "He's just like us."

Gwennie stomped her paws on the cave floor frantically. "He is NOT like us! He is vermin! He doesn't BELONG here!"

"Calm yourself!" Ripple ordered Gwennie, standing above her and almost raising her wings.

Gwennie cowered back and turned around, muttering the words "You're wrong." Under her breath.

Gwennie angrily padded into the den where all the teens and hunters-to-be slept together.

Sky looked at Gwennie and walked over to her. "Are you alright?"

Gwennie shook her head and sat down in a moss bed. "I'm not. I had a dream about Hawk drowning me, nobody believes me! I know he has bad intention!"

But then Gwennie thought of something.

If she were to lie, maybe then people would believe her.

"Hawk hits me all the time." She said to Sky in a concerned tone. "He beats me up."

Sky looked shocked, she had never heard of Hawk doing something like that! "How? And what happened in your dream?"

Gwennie began to fake cry. "He.. He bites me, and scratches me when nobody's looking, and In my dream.." She inhaled heavily. "He pushed me into the water and laughed.."

Sky came closer to Gwennie and sat next to her. "It's alright, Gwennie, it's okay."

Gwennie held her face in her paws and cried some more for effect.

Sky walked back to her bed and under Gwennie's paws she grinned.

Her plan was working.

-

The next morning, Gwennie decided she'd pay Spark Storm a visit.

Spark Storm was one of the older cave members, she had been here before Storm was even born, and was supposedly in his 60s.

Gwennie was hoping she could tell Spark Storm about what Hawk was "doing to her".

Gwennie went to Spark Storm's den and sat a bird at the entrance. "Spark Storm! I brought you food!" She called.

The red, slender cat got to her feet and picked up the bird. "Thank you, Gwennie." She said, bringing it back over to her bed.

"Where are the other elders?" Gwennie asked Spark Storm, glancing around.

"Ah, they went out to the town to bring some food back home." She said casually.

"Oh. Moon Storm won't be happy about that, whenever he figures out the elders left camp, he gets mad." Gwennie laughed.

"Yes, Moon Storm is quite the rascal." Spark Storm bit into the bird and then set it aside.

"So, Spark Storm," Gwennie spoke. "I have some news to tell you."

Spark Storm looked up. "What is it?"

Gwennie sighed heavily. She didn't want to fake cry this time, not yet. "Hawk's been.. Abusing me," She started.

Spark Storm sat back up, concerned. "Oh! Hawk isn't the nicest, but how has he been abusing you, dear?"

Gwennie looked down. "He scratches me, claws me, bites me, and he always does it when nobody can see." She said in a sad tone.

Spark Storm didn't say anything, but did step closer to Gwennie.

"And I just don't know why!" She started crying heavily. "He does it all the time, it's like her hates me!" She buried her face in her paws to hide the tears.

"Oh, Gwennie.." Spark Storm sighed. "He doesn't hate you,"

"BUT HE DOES!" Gwennie shouted, still crying. "He does hate me! He says he wants me to die!"

Spark Storm's expression changed from worried to serious. "That's not okay, then. I'll be sure to tell everyone else right away. You get some rest, alright?"

Gwennie nodded weakly. "Alright..."

She stepped out of the cave with a wide smile.

-

Gwennie came back to see Ripple, out of the healer's den, panicking.

"What's wrong?" She asked Ripple, trying to hide the tears in her fur as to not look suspicious.

"It's Hawk!" Ripple shouted. "He ran off! We're not sure where he went!"

Gwennie's ears lifted. Hawk? Dead?

Ripple's breathing slowed down slightly. "I sent White Feather out looking for him."

Gwennie's ears went back down again. Ugh, White Feather. She thought.

"That sucks." Gwennie said carelessly. "I'm going out. I'll find Hawk for you."

Ripple nodded. "Thank you."

Gwennie left the cave and decided she would go to the town outskirts to, maybe, fight someone.

-

Starry Leap pointed her paw towards Gwennie, who was approaching the tree.

"Oh, that's my sister, Gwennie." Moon Storm said, closing his eyes and bounding over to Gwennie.

"Hi Moon Storm." Gwennie said. "Who's that?"

Moon Storm sighed. "That's my friend, Starry Leap. She's a lynx and I've.."

Starry Leap hummed and Moon Storm laughed. "I've never seen how she looks, because we sit at opposite sides of the tree."

Gwennie smiled. "Could I describe how she looks to you?"

Moon Storm nodded. "Sure, but sometimes I see her in my dreams."

Gwennie began her explanation. "She's purple with a white underbelly, and has dark orange spots around her back and paws, she has a jade green necklace around her neck and large emerald eyes. She's a..."

Starry Leap hummed.

"A spirit." Gwennie finished her sentence.

Moon Storm smiled. "Yep!"

"Have you two seen Hawk anywhere?" Gwennie asked.

Both shook their heads. "Nope." Moon Storm said casually.

Gwennie sighed and walked back to the cave.
