I am patient as I study and learn his daily schedule.
I am patient as I watch him, noticing that he leaves his spare key carefully concealed in the potted plant by his door.
I am patient as I wait for him to leave for work.
I am patient as I search the kitchen for the knife rack.
I am patient as I make my way to the bedroom, awaiting his return.
I am patient as I hear the familiar jiggle of the doorknob.
I am patient as he approaches the closet door.
I am patient as I thrust, making sure to sever every major artery.
I am patient as I cut and slash to prepare the body.
But, as patient as I have been, I must wait for a little longer.
After all, I like my meat well done.
