This was an image that I found while doing a Google search for pictures to use in one of my recent creepypastas. I found it extremely haunting, so I decided to save it. When I right-clicked on the image and hit "save content as", the save box popped up. Where the file name would usually be a bunch of random letters and numbers, the default name of this image was SPLIT WOMAN.jpg. After saving the image to my "images" folder, I exited the page, and went back to Google to continue searching.
My computer must have glitched or something. The whole Google images page was nothing but duplicates of this image.
I had earphones on at the time, so the silence was getting a bit eerie. I went to take them off, and that's when I heard it.
I took my earphones off and the sound did not continue. This image must have somehow infected my computer! I hurried and deleted the image and ran a virus scan, but it turned out clean. Putting the earphones back on, I realized, the sound was playing through the earphones! But it sounded so real. It sounded like it was right in the other room, and coming closer.
Then, it opened my door.
