I travelled on the pathway, with a surprisingly festive expression on my face. I was astonishingly pleased to be alive. Of course, I was nevertheless concerned about running into Aiden again. Who knows what he would do to get vengeance on me. I did beat him with a wooden plank for crying out loud. He definitely will be after me if he ever sees me in town. So, I'll have to be cautious on the streets.
Abruptly, I occurred across an unusual, ominous radiance from the corner of my eye. It was in the forest, covered by the lofty trees, but I could still the shimmer through it all. What is that? It was so bright and lowly, I was surprised no-one else has seen it yet. Utterly curious I edged towards gleam, wondering what I would find. When I got there, I could barely see through the brightness.
Then I suddenly saw it. Some sort of object amongst the forbidding glow. I couldn't precisely tell what it was, but it looked threatening. Was this safe to have around? Maybe I should tell The Order. I went to step back, but I couldn't help but feel this substantial force keeping me from stepping away. It held me in place and made me feel like I couldn't move anywhere but forward. Before I knew what I was doing, I had already extended my hand out. I couldn't stop myself. The atmosphere unexpectedly appeared so mesmerizing, like floating in an ominous abyss of light. I was desperately trying to talk myself out of it. I knew it was a risk, but I couldn't stop. I felt like I lost command of my own body as the glow deliberately rustled my name. I heard it. It was actually, agilely calling my name in a tender, placid voice. My hand had already gotten past the barrier of light and continued reaching in further. As my finger mildly caressed the anonymous object there was a burst of radiance that covered my vision. I don't remember what the object was. I don't remember what happened. The last thing I remember was blacking out

Jesse struck the armour stand once again with his sword. He promptly wiped the few drops of sweat on his forehead before continuing. He's been doing this over an hour. Practising his raids on the wooden stand. It would've kept on going if Axel and Ivor hadn't walked in. "Hey, Jesse! We're back", Axel attended his intensive companion. Jesse didn't respond. He had his entire focus on what he was doing. Ivor caught on that Jesse wasn't paying attention and let our a purposeful cough which made Jesse slightly flinch. "Huh? Oh, hi", Jesse murmured, while his focus endured on the stand. Ivor began scanning the room, only to find that Jesse was the only one in it. "Where's that girl you were with?", Ivor required. Jesse finally took his eyes off the armour stand with a blank expression. "She disappeared a couple of hours ago. I don't know where she went", he stated, resting his sword on the table. Axel squinted his eyes before his appearance transmuted into a smirk. Jesse was the first one to see his smug grin and instantly, he felt uneasy. He knew that conceited smile. He knew it meant Axel had something planned. "I don't think that's possible considering that fact that you're ALWAYS with her". Jesse scowled at his friend, trying to contain himself from throwing a raging hissy fit. He solely rolled his emerald eyes, neglecting Axel's smug expression. He hoped ignoring Axel would be enough to shut him up, but, that didn't stop Axel from proceeding.
"Aw! Does Jesse have a crush?". Jesse flinched at the word 'Crush' before violently menacing at Axel. "Can you just stop talking?", Jesse articulated brutally. Axel chuckled, haughtily. This was the reaction he was hoping to get out of him. Jesse was basically giving Axel exactly what he wanted. "Jesse, your face is turning red", Ivor pointed out, stepping closer to observe Jesse's faint blush. Jesse instantly glanced away, covering his face with his hand to shield himself from mortification. Jesse was surprised by his lack of attentiveness and the fact that he's essentially bubbling up with humiliation inside. He felt his stomach knot up every time Axel made fun of him. Was it because of (Y/N)? No. It couldn't be. She's just a girl Jesse casually hang out with. Surely nothing more. "Uh Oh! Looks like Jesse is in the 'L' Word," Axel continued to harasses him, poking Jesse's arm.
