"Is she always like this?", I asked, scowling towards the direction Petra stormed off to. "I'm so sorry. She doesn't normally act like this", Lukas lamented. "Maybe it's just mood swings?", Axel attempted in making me feel better. "Maybe you should go find to Jesse. We haven't seen him all morning.", Olivia recommended. "If he's not here, he must be around town square". I agreed and left the room without another word. "She totally likes Jesse", Axel snickered.
I strolled around the outside of The Order Hall. Then, I began to notice something out the corner of my eye. Black ooze inaugurated to leak out of my bandaged arm. It caused most of my hand to look shadier than the darkest midnight. I commenced to panic. Is this natural? Was this supposed to happen? The darkness kept swelling inside my body and spitting out of my arm. "I don't think that's normal", I detected a faint voice behind me. I jumped before tentatively spinning around. "Jesse! You gave me a heart attack!", I fabricated. Jesse chuckled, then regained his gaze to my arm. He peered at me, then back at my arm. As if he was asking, 'Care to explain why there is a dark, oozing swirl erupting from your flesh?'. "Oh yeah! About that, um...", my voice dimmed. "I'm guessing this has something to do with that beam you touched", Jesse remained to examine my arm. He mildly stroked the bandage were the blackness was infecting my skin. My face began to feel warm. I was tensing up at the sudden action. His green orbs were filled with concern. His eyes really do twinkle in the sun...Wait--No! Stop it! I briskly faced my head towards a different direction.
"Is it...painful?", Jesse asked as if it was an obvious question. "Just a bit sore", I softly clarified. He deliberately withdrew my arm from his grasp. "Maybe we should get someone to take a look at it", Jesse recommended. I required help, but comprehending that this had something to do with my intrigue, I wanted no-one to identify it. "No!", I hurriedly discarded Jesse's suggestion. He bestowed me a staggered expression. "I mean--I think I should be fine. It's no big deal", I apprehensively ceased. Jesse raised an eyebrow to determine he didn't believe me. The guy knows me better than I know myself. "Trust me. I'm fine". Jesse let out a mournful sigh before breaking out into a grin. "Suit yourself", he replied in an unconvinced tone.
I squinted at what I regarded in the distance. "Is that...sand blocks?", I point out. Jesse turned around with his eyes widened. The ground was indeed spitting out giant sand blocks. The whole screaming and panicking charade commenced all over again. Jesse began to run off in the course of the chaos. "Jesse! Wait for me!", I call out. "No. Stay here and don't move", he waved me off. I was approximately to dispute back, but--
"Don't leave The Order Hall". After that, he ran off. I stood there twiddling my thumbs. I KNOW Herobrine has something to do with this. I could feel lit. "Move it, Girly!", Petra yelled as she shoved me aside and ran where Jesse was heading. I glanced towards the Town. Jesse said not to leave The Order Hall. Argh! Screw this! Jesse's going to get himself killed!
It was challenging to evade every sand block heading my direction. The whole town was shrieking, so it was strenuous to find Jesse. After a while, I spotted him. He was trying to help a man climb down from his house, as it was being surrounded by sand blocks. Fortunately, Jesse was able to lead the man out of harm's way. My orbs increased as I observed sand blocks spit out of the ground and was about to squash Jesse. I didn't waste a second running towards him and shoving him away from danger. Jesse was shocked and took a minute to process that I sort of disobeyed him. "I thought I told you to stay in The Order Hall", Jesse spoke. "I think the words you were looking for is 'Thank You'", I noted. Jesse rolled his eyes. "Fine. Thank you for not listening to me". Before I had time to comment on his rude attitude, more sand blocks started rasping out of the dirt floor. Petra managed to find us. "This is crazy!", she exclaimed. "How are we going to stop this?" Then an idea hit me. It was absurd. It was idiotic. And it just might work. I raced off to find a nearby tree. "(Y/N)! Where are you going?", Jesse called out. "You going to get killed! Are you listening to me?!" I knocked a block of wood and ran to a locality that a huge block of sand was approximately to come out of. I anticipated for the right moment before slamming the wooden block on the ground. The pressure of the sand blocks progressed before dying down. The ground finally was still. It was all quiet. At least until everyone commenced cheering. Jesse darted towards me. He looked appalled but still festive. "How did you do that?", he cheered. I shrugged and showed a miniature grin. Everyone enclosed us, still rejoicing.
