It's cool, he doesn't know. You're ok. I tried to calm myself down. Jesse almost found out my biggest secret. I can't let that happen. He'll hate me. My goal for a better life would be destroyed. I can't live like that anymore. "Y/N? Are you even listening to me?" I broke out of my trance.

"Huh? What were you saying?", I asked. "I'm guessing that's a 'no'," Jesse chuckled. "Sorry, I was lost in thought for a second," I anxiously giggled, transferring my glance to the side. Jesse gave me a qualming frown, but shook off his suspicion. "Hey, do you think you can bring in that book about Herobrine?", Jesse queried, peering at me. "It might give us more information and make this investigation much easier". My heart stopped. My mum was right when she said one lie leads to another. But, obviously, I had no choice but to fib. "I... burned it. I was being a bit klutzy that day and tripped. It fell into the fire", I bluffed, twiddling my sweaty fingers as a nervous expression swept onto my face. Jesse glanced at me in disbelief. His face showed no emotion, just before he began to crack up. "I don't get the joke", I grumbled at his amused face. "How do you NOT get the joke?", Jesse asked between his laughter. "I can't even--You tripped an 'burnt' the book? How is someone that clumsy?!", he continued to chuckle.

"Yeah, I have butter fingers ", I snickered and scratched the back of my head. I felt terrible about lying. Especially to Jesse. Jesse's laugh slowly died down. "Ok...Ok... I'm done now", Jesse finished chortling. "Stop it!", I playfully scowled and friskily punched his arm. "Well, at least tell me about him", Jesse suggested. " You must remember something". "Herobrine used to use his phenomenal power to sneak into the core of the world and hack into some system to make weird and unnatural things happen. One day he got banished to some other dimension. He must have escaped somehow," I explained. "And I think...", I paused. Jesse patiently waited for me to continue. But, I didn't. "We don't have all day, Y/N", Jesse encouraged me with a sly grin. "You know what, I think that's enough information," I sighed.

"Y/N, don't start this again," Jesse groaned, rolling his eyes and dragging his head backwards. "Just tell me. It won't kill you". I crossed my arms and slightly frowed at him. "Jeez, Jesse! No need to be so demanding", I giggled. "He's... He's an Admin, well sort of", I blurted out as my voice wandered off. Jesse, who was leaning at the edge of the bed, instantly fell off when he heard the word 'Admin' slip out of my mouth. He promptly stood up, with his jaw dropped. "WHAT?! HE'S A WHAT?!", Jesse stammered, replaying what I said in his head a few times, to make sure he wasn't hearing things. "You heard me", I sighed, immediately regretting what I said. "Woah! I wish I had that book so, I could read it myself", Jesse desired. Argh! Y/N, stop making it so freakn' obvious!, I mentally screamed. Jesse must have sensed that I felt the tension. He placed his hand on my shoulder like he did last time we were together. I locked eyes with his. His beautiful green orbs twinkled as he showed me his prepossessing grin. My cheeks started to glow. Why do I get these feelings around Jesse? I can't like him, right? No, I can't! Jesse could get killed, all because of me! Jesse's face bestowed a hint of soft pink when he realised how close we were. He cleared his throat and took his hand off my shoulder, while scooting away. "Wow, would you look at the time. I guess we should go to bed". It wasn't that late. But obviously, Jesse was trying to escape the pressure and tension. I let out a huge yawn, right on cue. My eyes suddenly became heavier than rocks. All remember next, was darkness.

Voices were blurred from my perspective, but soon became clearer. My eyes batted open. I was startled when I saw The Order standing over me. "GAHH!", I screamed and tumbled off the bed. "Sorry, didn't mean to alarm you", Ivor grinned, trying to contain his chuckles. "You seemed very comfortable last night", Olivia snickered, crossing her arms. Everyone was trying really hard to not burst out laughing. I was beyond confused, as Olivia helped get back on my feet. "I'm failing to see what's so funny", I mumbled, ever so softly. "I'm failing to see why you had to lie down on Jesse instead of the ACTUAL bed", Petra glared at me, pointing out my mistake. I suddenly had a recall of what happened last night.

"Wow, would you look at the time. I guess we should go to bed", Jesse suggested. I let out a huge yawn. Jesse quietly giggled. As he lied down on the bed, I was too sleepy to stop myself. I placed my head on his chest and curled into a ball. My actions took Jesse by suprise, but he slowly began to relax. A couple moments later, he wrapped his arms around my waist and set his head just above mine. This didn't feel right but, I couldn't bring myself to move. I was probably just too tired. "You're much more comfortable than you look", I teased. I caught a glimpse of Jesse rolling his bright, luminous orbs and grinning down at me. "Shut up and go to sleep", he exhorted. I embraced Jesse, and curled up into his firm chest. Darkness took over my vision until all that was left was an absence of light.

"I did not notice you were there to witness that", my voice almost came out as a whisper as my whole face turned red. "Aw! Don't worry, Y/N. We'll only judge you for the rest of your life", Axel chuckled, teasing the heck out of me. "I'm sure Axel doesn't actually mean that...but he has a point", Lukas slightly chortled, but right after, covered it up with a cough. "B-But you didn't hear...anything else, right?", I stammered, praying in my head. "Uh...no", Axel tilted his head. I let out a relieved sigh, and started to relax. "Where did Jesse go?", I asked. "He woke up before you and left. He didn't say where he was going", Olivia stated, shrughing her sholders. "Why do YOU want to know? This shouldn't even be your concern", Petra scowled at me. "Petra, why are you acting like this? What's the matter with you?", Olivia asked, guarded me. "What's the matter, is that SHE is snooping through our business!", Petra pointed at me. " She always wants to know everything. As if she's some nosey, little spy!". "I'm sorry, but did I do something wrong?", I attentively spoke up. "You always seem to be on my case for some reason". Petra walked up to me until we were face to face. She gritted her teeth and pointed a fatal finger at me. "Listen, if you want to play that baloney Damsel-In-Distress act, be my guest. If you want to be part of some sick love story, do as you please. And if you want everyone to think that the crap you're saying is true, don't let me stop you. But, let me give you some input, if you dare ever, EVER, think it's ok to mess with my friends by gaining access to some pity, childish, romantic drama, you picked the wrong team to associate with. Let that sink it". Petra grunted as she harshly shoved me aside and stormed off.
