Chapter 13 That's not right

Jacob POV

"Ness come here!" I yelled coming in through the door. Footsteps came running down the stairs.

"Jake what?"

"Get your shoes, we are going for a ride." She giggled and grabbed her shoes, she always loved when I surprised her. And everyday for the past 3 weeks, I have done something new.

"What are we going to ride?"

"Those." pointing to the motorcycles outside in the driveway. She jumped up and down and screamed. She always loved riding motorcycles with me. When we were in Forks, Edward was not in favor of it, so it was really hard to convince him to let her. Bella was always on my side, she loved riding them too, I had taught her years ago when we were still teenagers.

"Which one is mine?"

"Which ever one you want." She laughed and got on the first one she could get to first.

"What's with the backpack?"

"You will just have to wait and see."

We hopped on our bikes and rode off into the sun set. "Where are we going Jake?" She yelled over to me. I knew that she was probably confused, we were way out of city limits. We had not left the city really since we got there.

"Just follow me." We drove over to Chaco Canyon, it took a long time to get there, but it was a fun drive. Especially watching Ness drive, she had the built in need for speed, so the whole time she would drive right next to me, then hint to me that she wanted to go faster. I found a flat surface for us to park the bikes.

"Oh Jacob, this is incredible. How did you know where this was?"

"Spread of the word. Okay Madam, we have a blanket" I pulled out a big blanket and laid it on the ground. I knelt down on the blanket and put my back pack in front of me. I named the things I was pulling out of my bag so that she would know what I was getting at. "We have water, and some cookies, and sandwiches."

"Are we having a picnic Jacob Black?"

"Why yes we are, you proud of me?" She giggled and sat down beside me. She ate a cookie and began eating her sandwich.

"Jacob, what did you put in this sandwich?" I looked up confused, there was nothing but the normal. She was making a face like she ate something gross.

"I put what I usually put in it, lunch meat, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Why?"

"It tastes, off."

I bit into mine again, mine tasted just fine. "Mine tastes good. Let me taste yours." I bit into hers, it tasted fine. "yours tastes fine to me."

"Well then you can have it, because it tastes gross to me." She just bit into another cookie.

"Awe, I am sorry Ness, We can go somewhere and get something if you want?"

"Nah, it's all good. I will be happy eating cookies." Ness didn't really like sugar stuff, so we found a way to make cookies, that she liked, without making them really sugary.

"Are you sure, I really don't mind going and grabbing something."

"I am perfectly fine honey. Thank you anyways. I can't believe how beautiful this place is. It literally just takes your breath away. Especially at sunset. Thank you for bringing me here." She snuggled up against my chest and laid against my body. I can't deny that it made my skin tingle, and it made me want her even more having her that close to me.

She lifted her head up to look at my face, her sweet breath gently blew across my face. My head felt like it was swimming. She smiled a pleased smile at what she could do to me. Her body twisted around so she was sitting on me with her legs straddling my hips.
