Chapter 22 A New Life

Renesmee POV

I didn't pay any attention to where we were going. My mom and dad had switched places, so my dad was now driving, and my mom was in the front seat, enjoying her grand babies. We put the back of the car back together so we could all sit down comfortably. The cell phone had been ringing off the hook with the other family members all wanting to know all about the new arrivals.

I contently cuddled in Jacob's arms, as Ella and William were passed back and forth between my mom and Rosalie. Jacob kept brushing his fingers through my hair and kissing my face. "I love you so much Ness! You have made me the happiest man alive!"

I couldn't help but giggle. I kissed his lips softly. There still was almost no energy in me. I really hadn't had time to be with Jacob since he came back.

"I am so glad that you are okay, and safe. I was beginning to loose my mind when you were gone. How did it all turn out?"

"Really good, they may be extreme hunters, but sometimes, they are rather narrow minded. They believed my track completely. I was calling you to tell that I was on my way home, when the guy answered the phone, I ran back to your families house, and they were all telling me that you were gone, I got Edward and we ran towards the house as fast as we could."

"I am glad that you brought my dad, I was afraid that Devin's little scheme would work. But I am glad it didn't." I kissed him hard. "So mom! Where are we going? I am finally wanting to know, why aren't we going back to forks?"

My mom put her head down and looked over at my dad. They gave each other grim looks, "Renesmee dear, the secret is out, they all knew that we were not human, that hunter had a story out about us all, it was all over the papers. Luckily they just didn't know what. We all had to leave, and leave no trace. Carlisle deleted every record of his from the hospital. School, everything had to be wiped clean. So it's like we never existed there. We are having to move to Alaska. We are going to start a whole new life. Completely new, new names, new everything."

"Well, guess the babies names shouldn't be Black right?"

"No honey, I could keep my last name, it's a very common last name, we just have to change our first names." Jacob said kissing my ears.

"I like my name though!"

"I do too baby, but we will all still call you Renesmee, or Nessie, but publicly and legally you have to have another name."

I never thought about another name for myself. I had always liked my name, and never wanted to change it. Jacob how ever apparently had, he wanted to change his name to Daniel. I didn't care for it much, but he would still always be my Jacob.

Ella and William were both playing with mom and Rosalie's hair, they laughed and giggled like they were months old. Even though they were tiny. They had the attention span of a baby who was almost a year old. Jacob and I finally had enough watching them, and now wanted to hold them. I took William in my arms and held him close, he smiled at me and played with my hair.

"Rosalie can you hand me that other blanket, I want to make sure they are warm enough." Rosalie reached for the blanket when it was suddenly floating. We all gasped and looked around. Rosalie looked over at William, his hand was extended in the air, reaching for the blanket. "Is HE doing that?" I asked.

"I think so!" My mom said as much amazed as we all were. William laid his hand back on his stomach and the blanket glided over and landed gently on him.

"William? Baby? Tell mommy, are you making that blanket move?" William smiled at me and snuggled into my chest, hiding beneath my hair, his breath became slower and he fell asleep.
