Chapter 23 It's a wonderful Life

Renesmee POV

Almost 6 months passed and life was sweet. Everything seemed perfect about the whole hunter incident, they were stumped and apparently had given up. Carlisle had told everyone in the family, that since they were all graduates of high school and college, except for Jacob and I, and that they should get jobs like normal people. Carlisle was warmly welcomed into the hospital, with his amazing background. Edward and Rosalie opened a car repair shop, which was hilarious. Alice and Esme went into business was party/wedding/everything else planners. They were a huge hit. Jasper and Emmett got jobs at a gym, as fitness instructors. Jacob worked at the repair shop with my dad and Rosalie. Since Rosalie didn't want to get dirty, my dad and Jacob gladly worked on the cars. Embry and Quil were also gladly welcomed at the car shop to help on cars. Seth being a full time pack leader didn't have much time for anything else. My mom and I stayed at home mostly taking care of the twins.

Ella and William had grown up so much. They were going to be 6 months in 2 days, but they looked like they were about 5 years old. Ella was much smaller than William, even thought he looked like me, he was already past my waist, he took on his size from Jacob. Ella was a sight, her long flowing black curly hair with her beautiful green eyes. That was my mom's favorite part, she was hoping that when I was born that I would inherit those eyes. But she was glad when Ella did. Seth and Ella had become the best of friends. She would play with him all day long and sleep in his arms at night, after only a month the twins had both outgrown their cribs, so Esme had twin beds for them. Seth and William had also become the best of friends, when Jacob wasn't home, Seth would take William out and help him transform into a wolf. Jacob was thrilled when William had inherited that gene. William was a different kind of wolf, he was a red hair wolf, still small at the time being. But the most beautiful of them all. Jacob would go running with them a lot to keep from aging. I had officially frozen as a vampire, human food was no longer good to me, and my skin color had turned a little lighter, I was still not as light as my parents.

Alaska was a wonderful place. Everyone here seemed to like us, no body really thought we were weird. They liked all the business's we had and the time we would spend getting to know people. Our skin color was not even a big difference here, since it was pretty much cold all year round and it was dark all the time, everyone had light skin.

With William and Ella's 6 month old birthday coming up, Alice and Esme have been planning this huge party. A very formal one and we get no say in the matter. Tonight we are having a dance practice session. Since Jacob ,Seth, and Charlie cannot dance to Alice's standards, we are getting all dressed up tonight and are having a formal dance practice. The men have to wear tuxes while us women have gowns. Ella and William even have party clothes, although Ella hates hers. She has inherited the woman gene of not liking frilly things. Mom and I giggled when we discovered that. She would whine and fuss when Alice was giving her puffy girly dresses to try on.

My mom and I were sitting on the couch in the main house talking together when we heard a loud crash come from the kitchen area. Something had broken.

"KIDS! WHAT DID YOU BREAK?" I shouted. Seth peered out from the kitchen and motioned for me to come over. I got up and walked in to find Grandma's nice European bowl shattered in pieces on the ground. William was sitting on the floor crying.

"William, honey what's wrong?" I knelt down beside him and scooped him up in my arms.

"I didn't mean to break the bowl mommy, it was an accident." He sobbed into my neck, he knew that it was Esme's favorite bowl.

"Oh honey, I know, just tell me what happened."

"It is my fault really Nessie, I was trying to help him with his gift, I told him to try and move the bowl, it was to heavy for him, then it dropped and shattered." Seth confessed
