The day after Sasa and Gege become officially on.
Gerald welcome the new dawn with great happiness. He wanted to shout to the whole world his great feelings, when he saw his mom preparing for their breakfast, he immediately embrace her and spin around the kitchen. Mommy Vangie: “Hey son, stop it, what’s happening with you? You looked as if you are being possessed. Let me guess. It has to do with you date with Sarah last night.” Gerald just keep on hugging his mom, his heart is bursting with happiness. Mommy Vangie continued on prodding him to spill out the bean.... “She accepted you officially as her boyfriend.
Gerald shouted “Yes! Yes! Yes! And I am the luckiest man in the whole universe. Mom, Sarah is the one for me and she feels the same. Mommy Vangie: “I am happy for you son, it’s about time. Now you can focus on building our future for your soon to be family. Ken who just woke up joined in their conversation: Wow, Bro, you’ve found your match. Ate Sarah really hits you hard. You’re never been like that with all the girls you’ve loved before. I am happy for you bro. I agree with you, you are such a lucky guy to have someone like Ate Sarah in your life. Hope I could meet someone like her too.
Gerald really is on top of the world. He texted Sarah: Good morning, my princess, Are you awake now? I love you.
Beep: Hello Babes... Yes your text woke me up.... Love you too. Upon reading, he immediately made a call. Hello Baby Girl, you have a good night sleep. Am I part of your sweet dreams? Miss me?
Sarah: (laughing).. You’re too much Ge. We’ve been together the whole night and the wee hour of the morning. By the way, sorry, I fell asleep and thank you, babes, for bringing me home. I am really so tired, the mixed with so much emotion last night. How about you, it is still too early, have you rested?
Gerald: I had a very good one two hours rest. I don’t want to waste my time far from you. I am missing you already; your sweet kisses, your lovely face (soft appealing voice). Sarah interrupted him: Shut up. Somebody will hear you and assume otherwise.
Gerald: I told Mommy about us and she said, I am lucky that you accepted me knowing my stubbornness. She said to tell you, she is really happy that you are the girl I have chosen to be part of my life, my family. Have you told your family about us.
Sarah: Not yet babes, I just woke up, but I intend to do so. Gerald then said: I wanted to be there when you tell them. We will go there today, with Mom and Ken. Let’s have some sort of family gathering. Don’t worry about the food, Mommy will be cooking and I’ll just order for some pizza and pasta from our favourite restaurant before we proceed there. Is okay with you Babes?
Sarah: You don’t have any schedule today. Gerald said, he requested Ate Mhila to reset the TVC for another day, so he is free the whole day and he wants to spend it with her and her family. After their conversation, Gerald then told her Mom about the plans which the latter happily agreed on. She even suggested in jest if he wants for them to make the official proposal for their engagement and marriage.
Although Gerald wanted to propose to Sarah, he sensed an d know that Sarah is not yet ready. He will prepare for that special moment, hoping that it will be soon. He is no longer incline to wait for long to have Sarah as his legally forever. Sarah on the other hand told her parents about the plan. So Mommy D and Ate shine prepare also some food including cupcakes. Daddy suggested having a garden party. So he and Gab prepares the setting in the garden pool. Sarah just watch them and she is very thankful that her family approves and already love Gerald as one of their own. She misses Ate Joan who is the only one not with them because she is still studying in Paris. So she open her iPod to check whether her Ate is on line. She is happy to see that indeed she is and immediately requested for “facetime” mode. They chatted for almost two hours, with all the members of her family enjoying the moment and then they hear the doorbell which signals that the Anderson Family have arrived.
Sarah volunteered to open the door herself. With the sweetest smile on her face, she welcome Mommy Vangie, Ken and gave Gerald a kiss. Gerald hug her and did not let go of her hand while they entered the house.
Vangie, welcome to our house said Mommy and Daddy while they hug each other. While Ken was immediately cornered by Gab; and went to the entertainment room. Ate Shine tease Gerald when she saw that from the time they entered, he did not let go of her: Hoy you two, as if there are no other people around you, then she hug Gerald and said, I am happy for you and Pot. You really complement each other.
Then they went to the poolside, they had an impromptu program, singing and dancing. Then Gerald asked permission from everybody, calling Sarah at his side, he proudly announce to the family that Sarah has accepted him and they are now officially on. He then thank the Geronimo clan for accepting him as part of their family and the chosen one. He promise that he will do everything in his power to cherish, love and protect his princess, his baby girl from any pains. To seal that promise, he showed them the “Promise ring” he had bought from his last US tour and gave it to Sarah: Sarah was surprised and did not expect that Gerald will be giving her “the Promise ring”. Teary eyed, she touch the face of Gerald and said how much she appreciated everything he has done for her, how much she cherish the love that they had for each other. Everyone is happy and wishes them to be strong for each other, to settle any problem and not let anybody interfere with their relationship; and to let Christ be the Center of their relationship.
Sarah POV: Lord Thank you for this very special moment, Am so blessed because my family accepted the man I choose to love and hope to be the man I will marry someday. She then looked at Gerald who is actually looking at her and having the same thought. They smile with each other, Gerald slowly lower his head to kiss Sarah, when they notice that suddenly everyone stopped talking. When they looked at their family, they notice that all eyes were now on them, which made Sarah laugh out loud pinching Gerald’s side.
On a serious note, the three elders were talking on the possible consequences that will happen once the relationship of Sarah and Gerald leak out, they both have contracts to finish. Knowing the ugly side of showbiz, are these two ready to face the intrigues, innuendos, bad publicities surrounding the world of showbizness. They then talked with the two, asking them to defer the announcement of their relationship. They advice them to keep it private so they can enjoy the moment until such time that the public will be ready to accept the truth. Mommy D also requested that they limit dating outside to avoid any complications. Sa and Ge acceded on their suggestion.
Gerald and Daddy D then had a heart to heart talk. Sarah notice that the two man in her life seem to be discussing some serious matters by the body language that she observed. Then Ge lifted his head and saw her looking at them. He smile and shouted Love you, my princess which made everyone laughed.
Acceptance of both families about their relationship is already a blessing from God; because they can act naturally and be happy without thinking that their relationship will cause conflict with their family. It is really so nice to see both families bonding and happy. For that Sarah and Gerald are truly blessed.
