The past two years of being engaged is not as easy and smooth since they are both moving in the circle of artificiality, deceit and manipulative world of showbizness. The first few months after the much talked drama that unfold during the concert, the schedules of both Sarah and Gerald had been too hectic. There were many requests for them to appear in talk shows. They have to complete several projects including movies paired with other celebrities. They faced so many intrigues and challenges which tested their Trust and Faith for each other. There is even an attempt to break their relationship and their families. Both their families remained steadfast and strong in keeping their relationship stronger. Friends from the industry also guide and protect the two to keep their feet on the ground.
In one of their guesting, in Kris TV, wherein the first episode the amazing journey of their love, the two came early at the Studio. Then Ms. Kris arrived and saw them. Immediately she approached the two and apologized for being late. Then she congratulated them and said she is really very happy for them and very much willing to be one of their sponsors for the wedding. Everyone laughed. Then Ms. Kris: By the way Gerald, if I remember right, when you were a guest here, there is one question we’ve asked you, after admitting that you are courting Sarah. It was not televised ‘cuz we run short of time. What was that? Ms. Kris thinking...yah I asked you; how long will you wait for Sarah to decide? You said, you had already talked with Daddy D, for help. You said, her family will concoct “Love potion” to make Sarah opened up. Did he do that Sarah? Sarah, No Ate, maybe the right time just came and we found that we really love each other. Ms. Kris... Are you ready with the interview? Gerald: Yah, a little bit nervous, knowing you have a lot of researches done before the show so we have a feeling that you already know some of our secrets.
The show started:
Ms. Kris: It has been my pleasure to have two of the most loved artist of this generation. They will be sharing with us, the amazing journey of their love (kilig) and joy as a couple. The future Mr. & Ms. Anderson – Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson. (the two entered the stage and greeted Ms. Kris)
Sarah & Gerald: Good morning and it’s really nice to be back on your show. Thank you for the word of wisdom, you have shared with us. It made us stronger and focused.
Ms. Kris: Share with us, the exact moment in your life when you feel that she (referring to Sarah) is the one, Ge. (Pictures are being flashed on screen on the off cam moments of CMIL days)
Ge: I was attracted to her the first time I met her after the PBB at ASAP, I heard her angelic voice and said to myself, wow, whoever will win her heart is surely a very lucky man. Nothing happened and we were not even given the chance to get to know each other because of different commitments and projects. Then the second time, we met was during the story con of CMIL, I saw a very beautiful girl, I can’t help myself but stare at her the whole time and whenever she smiled and laughed, I felt my heart beat getting faster and jolted with so many emotions. At that time, I felt an inner peace calming my battered emotions. We didn’t talk then just a simple hi, hello, nice to meet you and hope we can work together and our fans accept our team up. During the taping of the movie CMIL, how I really wanted to get close and be her friend, but, I decided to just let it go feeling, am not worth her time and the fear that she will reject me. Then the movie was completed and shown. There are no opportunities for us to be together since she was really so busy and scheduled to leave the country for US. However, I made her remember me, when opportunity allows, I gave her gifts, flowers, gummy bears, the LV dog carrier bags. I started to befriend Daddy D, Ate Shine and Gab. One way of getting information the likes and dislikes of Baby Girl. Then really learned to pray hard that we will be given another projects together. God must really love me, a TV project was given us to promote the product together. She had just return from the US, wow she is more beautiful, I said it to her, but she did believe and told me, to stop making “googoo” moves. She said she will not be affected by my attempts because she knew my image as “Chickboy”. Gerald continues to narrate his side of the story while Sarah just kept looking with mischievous eyes.
