Alexa, Alexa …! He continued to shout. I quickened my pace and he continued to chase me. ‘Firstly you just couldn’t take your eyes off me, and now you are ignoring me’. I could sense the devilish grin of his, behind those words. Such a snide comment of his fueled my anger all the more. His words made me halt, my mouth forming a big o.
‘how dare you...? You see I have not lost my senses, who is interested in you...Hmm not me please.’
Jaden Morris, oh boy why is he so damn hot, he had this perfect messy hair, so tall and adorable. His pale complexion just glistened all the more in this sunlight. As he approached me, I realized how timid I was in front of him I had to look up, to meet his perfect adorable gaze.
Still the way he looked me always gave me a shudder, right from childhood days, this man always seemed so wrong to me, I don’t know why but my instincts told me to stay as far as possible from the man. Even then, at times I was so damn attracted towards him, which was beyond my control. My heart beat quickened he was standing so close, his cologne was making me dizzy I need to get away from him as soon as possible.
‘Stop checking me out Alexa’ he said in a husky voice, giving me a wink, and that half smile, which felt all the more dangerous. ‘So want to go out with me hmm..?’ he asked coming dangerously close to me.
Turning on my heels without saying a word I stormed out of the place. But he, being the devil continued to follow me, trying to catch up my pace.
‘C’mon both of us know you are dying to go out with me’, he said.
‘NOT INTRESTED…!!’ Was all I had to say before storming out of the corridor. Such was the impact that my voice echoed all through the corridor. I could sense him burning holes in my back
Finally that English class was over; Jace came running down towards me. As she knew where I would be, I was sitting in cafeteria sipping my hot chocolate trying to calm down my anger.
‘Hey girl’ (damn, she always called me that).
‘My name is Alexa’ I snapped back, I was in no moods to have fun right now. She laughed off giving me a half hug, trying to ease my anger, before sitting down next to me.
‘So what’s the plan, wanna go club tonight’ Jace asked.
‘Well its sounds like a nice idea, sure why not. But where are the guys I haven’t seen them since morning. There they are’, I saw my other three friends coming inside the cafeteria. We were a small group of five we had been friends since kindergarten; we were inseparable and the best of friends.
Our group apart from me and Jace it was Aaron, Dale and Samuel.
‘Hey girls’ Aaron came towards us. Giving us both a tight hug.
’Where were you guys hmm?’ I enquired ‘and how is your practice going?’
‘All good…’ said Dale sitting next to me, taking a sip from my hot chocolate.
‘Hey…!!’ I slapped him hard on shoulder; ‘no one drinks my hot chocolate’. Snatching away my mug, I tried to empty its contents as soon as possible spilling it all over myself in the process.
Seeing my condition all my friends busted into rounds of laughter, making me all the more angry. Then there was yet to come, as if all this was not enough Jace started telling the guys about how I was thrown out of class for staring Jaden. Now the guys started teasing me. Without saying a word I left the place with my bag on shoulder.
I went to the girl’s washroom and tried to clean away the dark liquid that had already stained my tank top. But it was of no use, I looked myself in the mirror and I looked horrible with the hot chocolate turning my red tank top, to a darker and filthy shade of red.
As soon as I entered the class I saw Jaden standing there leaning with one foot on the wall. Seeing my condition he taunted me, ‘seems like you collided with a food truck’. I was beyond pissed off so I chose to ignore him, and tried to find a seat for myself.
As I was walking, someone’s bag strap got entangled in my foot that was thrown carelessly on the floor, before I could realize I landed on the floor with a loud thud. My forehead slamming hard firstly on the side wall then on the floor. I felt dizzy, I heard roars of laughter, but as I tried to get up pushing myself hard from the blood stained floor I failed miserably. I was laying still on the floor.
‘Wait guys stop it, she is hurt’ roared Jaden and ran towards me, there was pin drop silence around. My head was so dizzy and this unbearable pain shooting up inside my head. I felt two very strong yet delicate arms scooting me up like a child; my head was resting in his rock hard toned chest.
I looked up, Jaden was holding me his white shirt was drenched in my blood. Before blackening out all I remembered was a very concerned face of Jaden.
