His darks

Flashback 6

It took me four days, to get well. Mom was finally back, from her tour.  Jace was with me all the time, Aaron, Dale and Samuel came to visit me from time to time. All this while Jaden stayed at my place, taking good care of me. We had developed a special bond not to forget that I was falling hard for him, very hard. I guess I was willing to take the risk, so I chose to ignore my instincts. The constant alarm bells ringing in my head had tried to warn me, but then again, I was willing to get drenched in his darks. For the first time in life, I ‘thought’ i knew what I wanted.

It was fun, being with Jaden, I had known a lot about him in these days. He told me everything about his life, how his mom passed away when he was three, and then his dad remarried. He broke down talking about his mom, and how much he misses her. That night when he told me about his mom, and his love for her, he cried a lot. I was with him all the while, I tried calming him down. He slept on my lap, with wet stained cheeks. I was awake all night, while he slept on my lap, never in my life had I felt so stillness. The warmth of him being close to me, was so soothing, I ran my fingers on his perfect messy hairs just like I wished the other night.  I wiped away the remaining stains of tears that rested on his cheeks. That moment, and that night had brought us really close.

It was weekend, and the very day I got hurt, Jace and I had planned to go club, earlier that day. So today, we five decided to go out, I asked Jaden but he refused which broke my heart.  I was fine, with it, it’s his choice I had nothing to say in it.

I was getting ready, it was 9 pm. I was wearing a black dress that reached up to my mid thighs. I got my curls straightened, applied lots of mascara, with smoky eyes; it made my big eyes all the more beautiful. Just the correct amount of gloss made me look like a diva, I was back in my form after so many days.

As I came out of my room, and down the hallway, Jace’s mouth fell open. ‘Girl you look fumingly hot..!!’ she said in a loud tone.

‘So do you Jace’, I complimented her. She was wearing a purple dress, with a long slit exposing her tanned right thigh, her stilettos made her look all the more gorgeous. ‘We will give tough time to all those guys out there’, I winked Jace.

Mum was out; she had a date, with Toby her boyfriend. She would not be back till morning. Mom and Toby were dating from past one year, and were planning to get married soon. I got along with Toby pretty well too, he was a nice man. So there was no need for me to hurry back home, I could take my own time, at club, and I wasn’t planning to come back till morning.  I just wanted to enjoy the night.

We both got inside my car; it was a twenty minutes drive to the club. As soon we reached outside the club, I knew it was a tough job to get inside Poison. Poison was amongst the best pubs of town and it was always crowded, in weekends one could hardly see anything inside apart from the waves of people.  We had to go a long way to park the car in the parking lot, because of the crowd.

We got out of the car, and within minutes, guys reached as well. All three were looking hot as usual. Since they were athletes, they had a perfectly toned and muscular body. Dale had chocolate brown hair, and a fair complexion.  Aaron looked hot with his tanning, the Armani suit made him look like a model. And Samuel was in his casuals; still somehow he managed to look so good he had that, million dollar smile, he was a charmer.

It took us forty five minutes to get inside the pub, because of the madding crowd and the bouncers.

All five of us entered the club finally, the music was busting so loud, it could blow any one’s head off. People were dancing and drinking around us to their heart’s content. In no time, Jace and Aaron were on the dancing floor, Jace looked so happy, merrily dancing.  While Sammy was busy with a blondy, at the bar counter.

So it was only Dale and me left. The loud busting music was replaced by a soft romantic melody.

‘C’mon let’s dance’, He said cheerfully while dragging me on the dance floor.  And of course I couldn’t deny him; I gladly went ahead with him.

All around us were couples hugging and dancing, to the rhythm to slow romantic beats, engrossed in each other’s love. My arms were encircled around Dale’s neck, while his hands were gripping my waist, so tenderly. Our body swayed with the beats of music. Dale was the only person, who knew my best of things and the worst fears; he knew how reckless I could act sometimes, or how embarrassing it could be to be seen with me, in public. I would fight with him, pull his hairs for always eating away all my snacks when he came home.  Still he was my pillar, holding me steady in my downfalls. I always hoped that someday he would find his princess, because he was such a good guy. Here I was with him sharing such a moment and it wasn’t awkward at all. Our bond was one of a kind.

He looked so handsome, in this dim light, apart from the occasional swirling of disco lights, there was darkness all around, and I liked that darkness. Dale was single for quite some time now. His girlfriend ditched him and it broke his heart, she was caught making out with some boy in the parking lot of our school. I was with Dale at the very moment. I saw his eyes, he had tears in them. My blood just, and Dale had to literally drag me away from the place, so that I don’t punch her in face.

‘Somebody is looking so handsome’, I complimented him.

 ‘Somebody is looking so hot’, was his cute reply, with a cute wink.

Dale slowly kissed my forehead on my scar, ‘now the wound will heal properly’. He said with a faint smile.

 With such a gesture of his, I was so touched at the very moment.  Whenever Dale visited me, he would always kiss my scar and say the same words, but this time, those words sounded sincere than ever.

I received an sms on my Iphone. I was surprised, when I saw Jaden’s name flashing; something throbbed inside me just seeing his name. It had interrupted our wonderful moment. I opened to see what it had to say

Jaden : You look really hot in black, my color. But not so good in Dale’s embrace, now enjoying a lot are we…! ;-)

My mouth fell open seeing its contents, his expression, did not sound good in the text. My heart started pounding, like it’s about to come out any moment. I don’t know why, It did not feel correct. I scanned through the crowd, and all I could see were dunk teenagers dancing around. I tried to search for  traces of him, but  fond none.
