After finishing my essay I packed away my English books in my bag since the period was almost done. I stapled my two thousand word essay before handing it in to the teacher. After handing in my essay I decided to browse through the internet since I had nothing else to do.

Ashton was quiet and continued listening to his music through his earphones pretending like nothing ever happened.

He doesn't even have the decency to apologize or ask a simple question such as "how are you feeling?"

Ignoring him, I plugged in my earphones and scrolled through my phone.

"Alright class that's it for today. Hand in your essays." Mrs Collins said.

I unplugged my earphones from my phone and packed them way into my bag. I looked up to see Ashton pushing his chair in and walking out of the classroom.

I shook my head as I watched him make his way to the door until he eventually disappeared out of the classroom.

"What an asshole." I muttered to myself.

I rushed out of the classroom thinking about my friends who must be impatient since they've been waiting for me to go to the cafeteria.

Approaching my locker, I saw Hailey giggling flirtatiously while talking to a tall, well toned muscular guy with platinum blonde hair. As I was getting closer I started walking slowly wondering what he wanted from my her.

"Took you long enough!" She rolled her eyes.

"Geez, sorry."

She rolled her eyes before returning to the conversation she was having with the guy in front of her.

"Where is Natalie?"

"She went to go get a table for us at the cafeteria since you were taking a lifetime."

"Stop exaggerating."

The blonde guy in front of us cleared his throat grabbing our attention, his piercing sky blue eyes were focused on Hailey.

"Oh I forgot! Rose this is Nick, Nick this is my best friend Rosia but we call her Rose." She introduced us.

Nick immediately took his hand out of his biker jacket pocket to shake mine. "Nice to meet you Rosia." He looked right into my eyes.

I must admit that he does have beautiful eyes. His eyes weren't normal blue, they were sky blue with long thick blonde eyelashes.

Any other girl would melt if he looked right into their eyes but for some reason his eyes didn't have that effect on me.

"Nice to meet you Nick." I smiled.

His face went from a small smile to a frown. "What happened to your face?"

"I got punched this morning."

"Ouch! Sorry about that." He replied, looking concerned.

"It's okay, my life is a wreck so I'm kinda used to all the bad luck that comes my way."

He examined my bruise before asking, "Are you the one who got punched in the face?"

"Yes..." I sighed. Great now I was known as the girl who got punched in the face one the first day of school.

Hailey and Nick continued talking while I was getting a few things from my locker. Just as I was closing my locker I turned around when I heard a voice calling Nick.

Ashton.

He didn't even bother looking at me just for once or even coming to apologize. I looked away telling Hailey that we should get going before lunch time ends. Hailey said bye to Nick like a little girl that was madly in love. I laughed to myself at how silly she was acting.
