Chapter nine:

~Ashton Hunt~

After I left Rosia's house I went to the bar to meet up with the guys. Once I got there I found all of them sitting there playing pool. "Finally you're here!" Cameron exclaimed.

"There was a bit of traffic." I said sitting down. "

"Stop lying. We all know that you were with Rosia." Nick rolled his eyes.

"Shut the fuck up."

"Ouch! He's getting overprotective over his girl." Nick chuckled.

"Are you still throwing a party next weekend?" Brent asked.

"Yeah I'm still throwing a party." Nick responded shifting in his seat.

"Can I invite Lexy?" Brent asked all of us.

"Yeah sure. You two seem to be hitting it lately." I smirked.

"Asshole." He rolled his eyes causing me to laugh.

"Nick, remember you said you have something to me last night?" I asked and he nodded. "Well what is it?" I asked lifting one of my eyebrows.

"Oh yeah it's about Hailey." He said with a shade of pink on his cheeks.

"Spill it!" Cameron shouted.

"I kinda like her." He said looking down.

"What!" We all shouted in unison.

"I'm not going to repeat it again." He replied.

"Since when did you like her?" Cameron asked looking surprised.

"Since 7th grade." Nick admitted.

"You bloody asshole. You've had a secret crush this whole time and you didn't notify us!" I shouted with a smile.

"Well geez guys. I don't have to share 'everything' with you." He said rolling his eyes.

"Does Hailey know?" Brent asked.

"No she doesn't but I'm planning on asking her out on a date."

" I did not see that coming." Cameron shook his head.

"Same." Brent and I agreed. After talking for awhile we all decided to call it a night since we were all exhausted.

                             ~Rosia Banks~

After getting a good night sleep I decided to go to school since I was feeling much better than yesterday. Despite feeling better I was annoyed at the fact that I had started my period today.

Today was going to be a long day. When I was done showering I changed into a pair of blue skinny jeans and a white blouse with my converse sneakers. I went downstairs to have breakfast since I was starving and needed energy for the rest of the day.

"Good morning." I greeted everyone.

"Morning sweetie." Mom greeted me.

"Hi Rosia." Sam greeted while eating his breakfast. I noticed that Dave wasn't around and asked my mom why he left so early. "

"He had an important meeting at 7a.m." She replied, giving me a plate of pancakes.

"Oh okay." I started digging into my breakfast.

"Hey Rosia?" Sam Called me, "Are you still sick?" He asked me.

"Nope. I'm feeling much better now."

"Can we go out for a movie on Friday?" He asked me.

"Oh sorry buddy, I can't. I have to do a project with a friend of mine at their house."
