                              ~Rosia Banks~

The next morning it was difficult for me to wake up. The whole night I kept on having the same nightmare. Mom and I running through the bushes in the middle of nowhere at night and the sound of gunshots coming from behind us.

After showering I walked over to my closet and decided to dress up warmly since it was cloudy today. I put on my black skinny jeans along with my white coat and black boots. I noticed that my box of contact lenses were done so that meant that I had to wear my glasses today. I went downstairs to have some breakfast when I heard my phone beep in my pocket. It was a message from Ashton.

Message reading :

Hi Rosia. I hope you slept well. I'm coming to fetch you...

After reading the message I rolled my eyes and smiled. As I was eating my breakfast the doorbell rang and I knew that it was Ashton. I gathered all my things and said bye to everyone.

I opened the door and met Ashton looking down at his phone. He looked up when he noticed I opened the door. He was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans and a grayish beanie. "Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked squinting his eyes.

"Like what?"

"The way girls do when they see a hot guy." He stared at me.

"I'm not looking at you like that."

"Yes you are. You're even blushing." He laughed.

"You wear glasses?" He asked looking surprised.

"Yes." I replied still looking down.

"They suit you." He smiled as he pushed a lock of hair behind my ear.

"Let's just go before we're late." I walked past him and over to his car. Ashton and I got to school and walked over to our friends.

We walked in and suddenly everyone is staring. It became a normal routine now. Some girls throw these death stares while some guys look at me like they want to approach me but they're too scared to. I checked my timetable and saw that my first period was English. Ashton, Brent, Nat and I walked to class together since we all had English.

The lesson was as usual boring and the worst part is Ms. Collins told us that we have a English test coming up. I quickly packed my bags so that I can go to my locker. I got there and I looked up only to find a guy walking in my direction.

I put my glasses back on to see who was walking towards me. I noticed that it was Miles.

Miles isn't bad looking at all. He has light brown hair almost blonde hair with emerald green eyes. Most ladies crush over him but honestly speaking his not my type at all.

When Ashton saw Miles walk over to me I felt him get closer to me. "Hi Rosia. How are you?" He greeted me with a hug. I hugged him back noticing that Ashton's head hung low.

"I'm good and you Miles?"

"I'm great. I was wondering you if you're free today?" He asked scratching the back of his head. I opened my mouth to say something when Ashton interrupted me before I could say anything.

"Sorry but she won't be able to. We have to work on our project today after school." He answered.

"Okay then what about tomorrow?" Miles asked looking at me.

"Tomorrow I'll be..." just as I was about to finish my sentence Ashton cut me off.

"Sorry again dude but Rosia is booked again tomorrow."
