~Rosia Banks~
Yawning, I continued packing my stationery away and my notebook in my bag.
"I'll be back, I just have to quickly use the restroom." He stated, getting up from the couch.
"Sure." I replied.
"Um...here's your phone, it's charged." He mouthed, before leaving for the restroom.
"Thanks."
My eyes grew wide as I stared at my phone screen.
Mom 100 Missed calls.
Mom 50 messages.I waited anxiously for her to pick up the phone as it rang.
"Sweetie? Hello?" She answered.
"Hi Mom." I replied.
I could hear her breathe from relief. "Thank god it's you. I was sick worried about you."
"I'm fine Mom." I chuckled.
"Where are you right now." She asked.
"I'm at Ashton's house. I slept over. Sorry I forgot to tell you."
"It's okay only for now ,but don't do that ever again." She warned.
"I promise I won't. We had to work on our project but we're done now so I'll be home in half an hour."
"I'm at work now but I'll be home before dinner." She spoke.
"Okay. Love you, bye."
"Bye sweetie."
Turning around, I found Ashton leaning against the wall staring at me intensely.
"Let's go." He mouthed, putting his car keys in his pocket.
I quickly gathered all my things before leaving following him to his car parked outside.
*************
Switching off the cars engine, he turned to me. "We're here loser."
"I know." I rolled my eyes, getting out of the car door.
I walked to the front door even though Ashton followed me. I assumed he wanted to go inside before leaving.
"Ro-ro!" Sam yelled, rushing down the stairs.
I bent down to welcome him into a hug.
"Hey, little man." I chuckled as he hugged, making me fall.
I noticed Ashton titter as he watched Sam and I fall to the floor on the carpet.
"Can we go to the movies?" Sam asked, getting up from the carpet on the floor.
"Sure. Let's wait for Mom to get home from work then she can take us to the movies." I replied.
"Can we go with Ashton?"
"No, we can't. He's got other things to do." I responded, playing with his curly hair.
"Um, I'm actually free. Why don't we all go to the movies?" He suggested, standing by the front door.
"Really?" Sam questioned.
"Yes and we can watch any movie." He replied, his hair falling in his eye.
"Yay!" Sam shouted running off to Ashton.
"I'm going to get my shoes Ro-Ro." He spoke, rushing up the stairs.
"Thanks." I whispered to Ashton.
I looked down trying to hide my cheeks as he winked in return.
**********
"Which movie do you want to watch?" Ashton questioned as we glanced at the different movies.
"That one." He pointed at a vampire movie with his small index finger.
"We can't watch that." I grinned.
"Why not?" He questioned, putting his thumb and index finger between his chin.
"You're not old enough." Ashton beamed at the curled haired boy.
*********
We chose an animated movie and ordered popcorn with jelly beans to eat while watching the movie.
Once the movie ended, Ashton suggested that we go ice skating even though I argued countless times that I can't skate.
"What's your size?" He asked me while helping me put on Sam's skates.
"Size seven but I'm not skating." I warned.
He tied Sam's skates tight enough before walking over to the counter.
"Hi, can I also have a size seven for the lady." He uttered to the guy working at the place.
Rolling my eyes at Ashton, I helped Sam stand on his skates.
"Thank you very much." Ashton thanked the worker before walking over to us at the bench.
"I'm going to the ice rink." Sam stated before leaving.
"Okay, we'll be there in a second." I smiled.
"Here you go." Ashton smirked, handing me my skates.
"I'm not skating."
"Yes, you are." He argued, his eyes fixed on mine.
"But I d-don't know how..."
"Listen to me! You are going to skate whether you like it or not." He demanded, his face one centimeter away from mine.
Blinking a few times, I stared into his mesmerizing gold indestructible eyes. I sucked my breath in as he never broke contact with mine, his breath hot on my face.
"Okay." I whispered, breaking the contact.
After putting on his skates, he helped me put on my left skate. He assisted with getting me onto my feet.
"Good?" He asked, giving me his hand to hold onto.
I nodded before holding his hand. I felt protected as my small hands slipped into his large warm hands.
"Take it easy." He whispered in my ear, his hands holding mine as we got onto the ice rink.
He skied backwards while holding onto my hands to get me to have balance.
Once I had balance and was managing, he let go of my hands. I thought I was getting the hang of it when I suddenly felt my left leg slip and I lost my balance.
Two arms wrapped themselves under my back, stopping me from falling.
"Caught you just in time." Ashton spoke, helping me get my balance back.
He held my one hand while his other hand was on my waist making sure I wasn't going to loose my balance.
"I can't do this."
"Yes, you can." He stated, his gentle yet mesmerizing amber eyes looked directly into mine, "trust me."
After trying over and over again, I eventually got balance and managed to skate even though I needed to hole Ashton's hand the whole time. On the bright side I did something I thought I'd never do.
********
"It wasn't so bad." Ashton chuckled lowly.
"Except for when I almost fell." I rolled my eyes, smiling.
"You're so dramatic." He teased.
"Whatever." I replied.
"I'll see you on Monday." He smirked.
"Bye." I waved before closing the front door.
