~Rosia Banks~
"Mom?" I called out clearly shocked to see what I was seeing with my own eyes.
I turned my head to face the guy standing next to my mother. His face looked a bit familiar but I couldn't seem to remember where he's from and what his name is.
"I'm so sorry... I apologize for my actions." The mysterious man apologized.
"Who are you?" I asked him feeling my cheeks burn a hot red as I felt anger build up inside me.
"Uhm...excuse me." He cleared his throat as he walked passed me.
"Mom what the hell is going on here and who is he?" I asked demanding for an answer.
"N-n- nobody sweetie." She stuttered, avoiding my eyes.
"You're lying to me again!"
"No honey, Nothing is wrong. He's just a high school friend that I bumped into here."
"But why was he kissing you?"
"See honey...he had a crush on me in high school and has kind of been obsessed with me since high school." She responded trying to convince me.
"Why didn't you stop him from kissing you?" I crossed my arms under my chest.
"He just kissed me from nowhere and caught me off guard."
There was silence as I was trying to process her words. It still doesn't add up at all and I don't get why this man just stormed off when I asked him who he was.
"Let's get going...Dave must be worried about us."
I simply nodded my head and walked out of the cafe. I checked my phone to see if I had any messages. I saw a message from Ashton and quickly opened the message. I was shocked that he sent me a message after what happened yesterday.
Ashton :
Hey:)
Wanna work on our drama project? :)I quickly replied saying "Sure" and switched my phone off. Besides what happened yesterday, we had to work on our project. As soon as we got home I went straight to my room.
I don't have a good feeling about that guy at all. His face looked very familiar but I couldn't figure out his name or where I know him from.
I went to moms room to tell her that Ashton is going to fetch me in an hour or so. The door was slightly open but I couldn't see much, I could only hear voices having an argument. I decided to leave since mom and Dave were talking about something serious but stopped when I heard mom say something that got my immediate attention.
"We're in danger."
"I know." I heard Dave sigh.
"We're in danger, Dave." She repeated, her voice strained.
"How is it possible that he was able to track you? The program made sure that there was absolutely no trace of you two." He heaved a sigh.
"He's Aiden Presley! What do you expect?" I heard her say.
"You guys were at the same restaurant which means he's been following you."
"What are we going to do! Our lives are in danger once again! When will this nightmare end?" Mom sighed.
"We're going to have to act fast especially now that he knows you're exact location."
My heart dropped when I heard Mom and Dave's conversation. Just when I thought my life was not in danger, this just had to happen.
"Have you told Rosia that Aiden is her-"
"Don't even remind me." Mom cut him off.
Aiden is my what? And who is this Aiden guy?
I have so many unanswered questions that my mom needs to explain to me. I'm in danger but I don't even know who's after me and just the thought of knowing that any time and anywhere my life could end within a blink of an eye just kills me.I went straight to my room and texted Ashton to come and fetch now. I just needed someone to talk and to clear my thoughts.
I quickly went downstairs as soon as Ashton's car pulled up in the driveway. I got in the car and simply stayed quiet looking straightforward.
"Is something wrong?" He asked holding my hand and intertwining his fingers with mine.
"Just drive." I gave orders.
He didn't bother asking me questions and started the cars engine.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked, his eyes focused on the road.
"Anywhere." I answered looking out the window.
I turned to face Ashton and found him smirking at me. I don't know where he was taking me but I knew that it was place where I could clear my thoughts.
