~Ashton Hunt~
Today was the day when my father was hosting his important employee and his family.
I looked at myself in the mirror to make sure I looking fine before going downstairs to welcome the family.
My family and I were standing outside to welcome them in for dinner.
"Smile." Dad whispered.
I stood tall and put on my best smile as the family came out of the car.
My heart instantly dropped when I saw the family. I thought I was dreaming when I saw Rosia and her family get out of the car.
On one hand I was shocked because I didn't expect Rosia's family at all and on the other hand my heart skipped a beat because of how breathtakingly beautiful she looked.
Her eyes met mine and her facial expression was the same as mine. Shocked. We both didn't expect to see each other. Her family walked over to our family making me more and more nervous.
"Dave! How lovely to see you and your family." Dad greeted him shaking his hand.
"Brian, good evening." Dave greeted back.
"I'd like to introduce you to my wife Zoe Banks, my son Sam and my daughter Rosia." He said making me nervous when he mentioned Rosia's name. Rosia and I stared at each other with shock as we both couldn't believe what was happening.
"This is my family. This is my wife Lea Hunt, my son Ashton Hunt and my daughter Olivia Hunt." Dad introduced us.
"Rosia isn't this your friend?" Mrs Banks asked Rosia. She looked like a statue until she finally answered her mom.
"Y-y- yes mom we go to school together." She stuttered.
"What a coincidence." Dad chuckled.
"So you two know each other and go to the same school?" Dave asked.
"Yes Mr Banks." I answered him.
"Amazing!" Mom exclaimed. "Well if we can all go to the dining room." Dad said leading the way as we all followed. Rosia and I stayed behind everyone as we made our way to the dining room.
"You didn't tell me that the dinner you had to attend to with your family was at my house." I whispered .
"I swear to god I didn't know. I'm just as shocked as you." She chuckled.
"I think I'm more shocked than you." I stared into her mesmerizing eyes.
She rolled her eyes before walking in front of me to the dinner table. We all sat down at the dinner table as we ate dinner. I was sitting across Rosia while she was sitting next to her mom and brother. Our parents were talking about business and boring us with their conversation.
"So Rosia, tell me how you and my brother became friends?" Olivia asked before sipping her water.
Rosia swallowed her food before replying. "Ashton don't you want to explain."
"No, I think you should tell her." I uttered, staring down at my plate.
Glaring down at my food, the events that day came back to my memory slowly. When I was aiming to punch that idiot Miles but he ducked and instead I punched Rosia. Seeing her fall to the ground was the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
I know I haven't apologized or even asked her how she's feeling which makes me feel even more embarrassed each day. She doesn't even know how I truly feel about her or how fast my heart beats at the sight of her. How my stomach flutters when ever she says my name.
