~Rosia Banks~
As soon as I got out of the shower I sprinted to my closet. I only had 15 minutes left to get ready for school.
Searching through my closet, I thought that since it's my first day I should wear something nice and simple.
I slipped on my high waist black skinny jeans with a white top and my white sandals. Not knowing what to do with my frizzy hair, I quickly tied it into a bun.
"Rosia honey, your friends are here!" Mom shouted.
Putting on my necklace I welcomed the sweet smell of pancakes. "Be there in a sec!" I yelled back.
I couldn't leave without my necklace. I've always had it since the day I was born. My mother gave it to me at birth and since then it's been with me through thick and thin.
I groaned knowing that I wouldn't be able to have the pancakes since I was late.
Before leaving I quickly gave mom, Dave and Sam a hug before leaving.
"Is your tracking device alarm on?" Dave asked, chewing on his pancakes.
"Yes." I nodded, checking if I packed it in my bag.
"Good. Remember if anything happens or you feel like someone is following you just press the green button."
"I will. See you later." I smiled before leaving through the front door.
I got into the car and I was so happy when I saw my best friends. It felt like forever since the last time I saw them.
"Girl, I know you ain't trying to look like a white girl with those sandals." Hailey muttered.
"Hey, nice to see you too. It's been a minute!" I rolled my eyes.
"I missed you. It's been forever since we last saw you." Hailey grinned starting the car.
"Tell me about it." I replied.
We got to school just in the time. While walking over to my locker I was checking my timetable. My first period was Science. What a great way to start my day. I mean who likes Science?
Nope...Is it just me that hates Science?
When I got to my locker I saw Hailey walking over to me. "Looks like you and me have science together."
"I hate science but I'm not going to let it ruin my day."
"That's the spirit." Hailey said making me chuckle.
"Where did Natalie go?" I asked frowning.
"She went to English." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Lucky." I heaved a sighed.
On our way to class there was a huge crowd of teenagers that formed a circle. There's only one reason why there'd be a huge crowd.
Two guys are probably at each other's throats, wanting kill each other. Boys will always be boys. Who am I to judge! I remember when I was in grade ten and the 'queen bee' Rebecca back then tried to piss me off. I tried my best to stay calm but she kept on provoking. An hour later I found myself ether principals office after punching Rebecca right in the nose. I'll never forget that day. I stood up to my arch enemy for the first time. Anyway, let's get back to reality.
