perhaps life is akin to
an undrainable ocean
of memories
that can only be added to...what one has known,
shall always be their own...perhaps grief is actually a gain,
a gain of knowledge...not a vacant chasm
but rather, a reflection
of what one possessed...for it is through reflection
that one can best see
the fertile rivers that flow
into the vast ocean
of their character...some of the most beautiful
and important subjects in life
are sunset reflections
where salt water consumes
the sweetest rivers...take time to examine the view...

Strange as it sounds,
your grief is not only your gain,
but mine also,
for your words struck a blow

Thank you.
