Everlasting War

66 15 26

Is not the true test
of my morality,
not only what I do,
not even what I would do
knowing I shan't be discovered,
but also what I would not do,
be it expected of me...

Ohh!   Courage to face my foes!

They are deceitful and many!

Ohh! To arms! To arms!

Be it not a battle,
but an everlasting war!

Dare I wonder 'Where does
lead the slender path in the
inky solitude of darkness...
or the wide swath trampled
by the drifting multitude
in light of day?'...
