The Gathering

Gather 'ye memories
while 'ye may,
for we reap
a mortal leap
to sow moments sublime,
down the cliff of time.

As we fall,
we spend our all,
yet 'tis barter fairly made,
for moments, memories trade.

So sharpen eyes,
and barter wise,
for those 'ye pass,
are ever past,
while those 'ye grasp,
shall ever last.
