21. Saddle

To us equestrians, the saddle is our home. Whereas most people would feel uncomfortable, or scared upon the back of a 1200lb animal... For some reason... That's where we feel safe. IT's where we spill our secrets, where we test ourselves. Where we chosoe to believe in the impossible, where we feel invincible, where we day after day, use blood sweat and tears to get better at what we do. It's where we first fell in love. Where we first realized the impossible is POSSIBLE. Where day after day we sit to think. It's where our lives were formed. Where we came to be who we are today. A place most people don't understand. And a place we vow to always return to, for if we lose our place in the saddle, we lost a part of ourselves, as well. us equestrians. We are the only ones that understand this. We are the only ones who have EXPERIENCED this.
