It's been two weeks since Luke and I started dating and I've never been happier. Payton has been nagging to meet Luke and his friends, so I decide to bring it up.

"Hey, uhm, my best friend since forever really wants to meet you and your friends and I told her she could." I say playing with his necklace.

"Why would you say she could. What if I don't want to meet her?" he answers getting upset.

"Look, I'm sorry I'll tell her no. It's not that big of a deal." I say quietly walking over to my desk to get my phone to text Payton.

"Lighten up Addie, I was kidding." he laughs. "I would love to meet her." he says smiling. I walk up to him and wrap my arms around his neck. He wraps his around my waist and leans back, lifting me, making me stand on my toes. Luke is honestly amazing. Everything about him. His eyes are so blue. The fact that he gets so mad at me when I mess up his 'perfect' hair as he likes to say.

"Can we actually meet her in the basement?" he asks as I pull away.

"Why? The basement is dark and scary." I say.

"Just because, please Addie?" he asks trying to get me to give in. Eventually he succeeds. So now we are sitting in my basement waiting for Payton to come. I hate the basement. Its creepy.

"Why on earth did you want to mee-" Payton stops mid-sentence and just stares at Calum, who I notice is staring right back at her.

"Luke, here, wanted to meet in the basement. I don't know why though. It's creepy." I say glaring at Luke and breaking Payton and Calum's stare at each other. "Guys, this is my best friend Payton. Calum, Luke, Michael, Ashton, Payton. Payton, Ashton, Michael, Luke, Calum." I say introducing them.

"Hey Payton." Calum stands up and offers his hand. She takes it and smiles.

"Cold." she says looking at their connected hands.

"What?" I ask.

"His hand. It's cold." They all look at each other before Luke speaks up.

"Weird."

A/N okay this chapter is really short and I'm sorry.
