A/N: a little birdy told me I had a gift and should use it so without further ado, chapter 26, now it may be a little shorter than what you hoped/wanted and I'm sorry. Also, I have never been to an asylum or whatever you want to call it, so I do not know how things are done there. Read the author's note at the bottom too.
"Honey we know you are upset about this."
"Upset? Upset doesn't begin to describe how I feel mom!" I raise my voice slightly.
"There's no need to raise your voice, Adelaide we are doing this for you." my dad tries to reason.
"You guys are delusional." I say staring out the window as they take me to whatever nuthouse they are shipping me off to. I don't understand why they are sending me. I hear the voices occasionally, not as much as I used to before we moved here. We pull up to a hospital looking building.
"Come on Adelaide, it's only a two weeks." I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, that's what you say now." I mumble to myself.
"Come on Adelaide." my dad says using his 'I'm the adult and you're going to listen' voice as I like to call it. I once again roll my eyes and grab the backpack I had packed. We walk in and a very very chipper young lady, started talking.
"Hi! You must me Adelaide." she says hugging me. I look at my mom and dad.
"Who is she and why is she hugging me?" I mouth. The both look at each other before giving me a shoulder shrug. She pulls away and I catch my breath from the lack of oxygen I lost from her hug.
"You must be Adelaide. I'm Carey, you can just consider me your new best friend, for the next two months." she smiles. Two months? I was told two weeks. No way, I am staying here for two months.
A/N: My reasoning to this chapter being so short is, I just wanted to discuss some things. First, in the fourth chapter, I mentioned an Isabelle and here in one of the recent chapters, I mentioned Madison, Isabelle is Madison, I didn't think much of it because I was planning to have Luke have the tragic girlfriend story, but I decided last minute to make it Calum and I thought Calum and Madison sounds better than Calum and Isabelle. So Isabelle is Madison. Second, I decided this will be the only book to this, because I am having trouble coming up ideas for this story, there is no way I could write a second one. and last, I'm so sorry this is so so short, like most of my chapters recently, I just winged it.
