"We're going to watch a movie." Luke says walking to my tv stand where all my movies are neatly organized. I'm kind of OCD about stuff like that.

"What movie?" I ask as he puts a disk in the DVD player.

"That's a surprise." he says sitting back on my bed. I sit next to him and lean on him. He brings his arm around me. About ten minutes into the movie, I fall asleep. I hadn't realized how tired I was until I was engulfed in Luke's almost warm body heat. It was kind of cold, if I'm being honest. I was awoken by the sun shining through my curtains. I look over and sadness immediately washed over me, as I noticed Luke was no where to be seen. I walk downstairs, looking like death warn over, and instantly my mom smile brightens my day. I was always closer to my mother. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad to death and wouldn't trade him for he world, but it seemed he was always to busy when I was younger to hang out.

"Morning mom." I say walking over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"Morning? Honey it's almost three." she said. My eyes widen. I had slept most of the day. I must be getting sick. I always sleep my days away when I'm sick, I'm not sure why.

"Seriously?" I ask in a disbelieving tone.

"No, but Luke stopped by." I could feel the corners of my mouth, turning into a smile, as she mentioned his name. She starts talking again. "It's weird though. He said he wanted to meet you in our basement."

"Basement?" I ask shaky, replaying the events from last night in my head.

"Yeah, I said I would tell you, but I didn't know how you would feel about it."

"No, it's fine. Did he say a specific time?"

"Yes, noon." I look over at the clock on the microwave. 11:30. I had 30 minutes to get ready and look simi-presentable, taking in my appearance now. I run up to my room and throw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a nirvana tank top, and my black combat boots. I run a straightener through my hair and do a natural makeup, mostly foundation, mascara, and Chapstick. I click the home button on my phone, making light up and display the time. 11:50. I slowly walk to the basement door and turn the old rusty knob. It creaks as I open it enough to walk down the stairs. If I have to admit something, I would admit I'm extremely spooked right now. I make my way to the bottom.

"Luke?" I call out. I get no answer so I try again.

"Luke?" I look around and don't see anything. I turn around and there is a figure wearing some type of mask. I use my first instinct and scream. I feel a pair of hands on me, pulling me closer into him.

"Hey, it's okay. It's just Ashton, thinking he's funny." Luke whispers. I can sense he's glaring at him right about now.

"I don't think, I know. You should of seen your face, it was hilarious." Ashton leans against the cold cement wall, laughing.

"Hey, if he ever gives you trouble, just say go away. He'll eventually listen and leave." I nod my head.

"Where did you go last night? You were there when I fell asleep and then the minute I wake up you're gone." I ask as he leads me into some dark and cold room.

"Yeah, uh, my mom called me. I had to go home." he says rocking back and forth. He seems to do that a lot.

It almost makes me wonder if he's hiding something from me.

What if he is?

He couldn't be, could he?

A/N: this is really short and I'm sorry. but hey I updated!
