We had finished singing and I immediately ran out of the room.

"Hey, Cal let's go get something to eat." Madison, my girlfriend, says getting up from the couch.

"What do you want?" I ask following her actions.

"I don't know, I didn't think you would actually agree." she says.

"Okay, I have an idea." I laugh.

"Where? You know what I don't even care. I'm hungry. Let's gooo." she says pulling my arm in the direction of the door.

We get in the car and instantly Green Day blasts from my speakers. Madison goes to change it when I smack her hand away. She looks at me.

"Driver picks the music shotgun shuts her cake hole."

"Cake hole?"

"DON'T WANT TO BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT." I loudly sing off key.

"You don't sing like that." she says turning the music down before I can hit her hand away.

"How would you know? You've never heard me sing." I say glancing in her direction before putting my eyes on the road again.

"Yeah, I have. Fifth grade talent show."

"I was in fifth grade, you can't judge my singing by that." I laugh, looking at her.

"CALUM!" she screams pointing at the road. I look and instantly collide with another car.

The next thing, I wake up in the hospital. The first thing that comes to my mind is Madison.

"Where's Madison?" I ask my mom, who is standing by the door, barely audible.

"Honey, the collision was really bad and mostly on the passenger side, you were lucky you got out alive, but Madison. She didn't. I'm so sorry." she says walking closer.

"NO, TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE." I scream. "It has to be a joke." I whisper.

"Sweetie it's not a joke."

"Hey, Cal you okay?" Payton comes in and interrupts my thoughts.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I ask walking past her.

Okay, maybe that was a little harsh, but as soon as she called me Cal, all of those memories came flooding back. Memories, I didn't want to remember. Memories I thought were gone forever. Memories that were supposed to be gone forever.

A/N: Okay so this is really really short and I'll probably update again tonight considering I have nothing else to do and can't sleep.
