"Hey, I actually have to go." I say kissing the top of her head. She nods. I walk out the door and pass a girl. I could feel her staring at me as I walk past her. I make my way back to the basement and see Calum and Ashton fighting.
"Guys, what's going on?" I ask as Ashton tries to get something from Calum.
"Luke, tell him to give me back my banana." Ashton pouts glaring at Calum.
"Seriously Calum, give him his stupid banana." I say pushing past them.
"IT'S NOT STUPID!" Ashton yells.
"Keep your voice down, just because they don't know we are down here doesn't mean they can't hear us." Calum scolds.
"Where were you?" Michael asks coming up behind me. I jump and turn around. I glare at him.
"This, this is why the other family freaked. You can't just pop out of nowhere."
"Why not? I mean, you didn't fall down the stairs and almost die." he asks looking genuinely confused.
"There are no stairs here." I say looking around.
"That's not the point. Luke, where were you?" he asks getting serious.
"I was with Adelaide." I say quietly making sure Calum wouldn't hear because he won't approve of this whole relationship.
"What? Why, you know what Calum said." he says louder than I like.
"Keep your voice down. I don't want Calum to hear." I say.
"Calum to hear what?" Calum comes in and asks.
"Oh, how awesome you are." I say rocking back and forth, lying. He narrows his eyes at me.
"You're lying."
"No, no I'm not." I say still rocking back and forth.
"Yes you are." I walk out making sure to hit him in the shoulder. I couldn't tell him I was hanging out with Adelaide. Let alone dating her. I bet if there was someone he liked living here, he wouldn't be this way.
A/N: okay I know these chapters are really short, but I have this whole story mostly planned out. I'm hoping to upload more tonight.
