I snuck away from the guys while they were in an intense conversation about something. I don't even know. I just had to meet this girl. It was going to bug me forever. I walk up to the door and hesitate before knocking. I knock and instantly regret it. The guys are going to kill me. I turn to leave but I hear the door open. I turn around and is instantly starstruck. She was beautiful.

"Hi." she says looking up at me because I'm so much taller than she is.

"Hi." I reply.

"Can I help you?" she asks after a few minutes of silence.

"I'm Luke." I say holding out my hand.

"Adelaide." she says shaking my hand.

"Honey, who was at the door?" a woman, who I assume was her mom, comes in and breaks the awkward silence.

"My, uh, mom sent me to welcome the new neighbors." I say awkwardly rocking back and forth, something I have found myself doing when I lie.

"Oh thank you, how about you come in?" her mom smiles.

"I actually need to be getting back, nice meeting you Adelaide." I smile as her name rolls off my tongue.

"Yeah, you too." she says closing the door as I turn around. I walk around the house and come to a staircase, the boys and I found a while ago, and walk down them immediately entering the basement.

"Where were you?" Michael asked.

"You guys are going to kill me, but I met the new neighbors." I say looking at all of them.

"We told you to not associate with them. Do we have to go back to Isabelle?" Calum asks.

"That was a long time ago and it wasn't my fault." I say pushing past him.
