Chapter 14

One Month Past-

Eren-

It's been a month since we were added to the pack. Ymir's been added too. It's been pretty peaceful and there hasn't been any attacks. There have been talks about the future. We've decided to wait on the pups. I'm only 18 and it still seems to early. I do hang out with Lily and Millianna though. I help take care of Millianna whenever Lily needs a break. It's fun and helps me learn how to care for the little ones. Levi's been busy with work so we don't really see each other during the day. We've gotten closer over the past month and act like real mates now. I'm also definitely not as shy with the pack anymore. I act like the luna they need. Speaking of mates and such. Levi called me down to his office. He told me it was important. I'm headed there right now. I keep walking down the hall until I make it to the door. I knock once before opening the door. Levi looks up from his desk and stands up. I walk over to his desk and he meets me there. Planting a soft kiss on my lips. When he pulls back I smile and he begins speaking.

"So, I got a message from another pack. They're one of our alliances and they said they wanted to check up. They want me and Erwin to come to their territory for a year. They said they wanted us to stay for a while then when the year is up we come back with their alpha and his second in command for a year. It's a sort of check up system that was planned."

I take in the information quietly. Waiting until he's finished. When he is he looks at me worriedly.

"So... What do you think?"

"I think that if you have to you should. There's nothing you're really missing out on here. It's just the pack and me. The pack will be fine. I have Hanji to help me. It'll be weird not having you here though. How far away?"

"About 36 miles."

"Okay. That's not that bad. Easy to drive."

He smiles.

"Yeah."

"When will you be leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning."

"Good."

He looks at me questiongly as I step up to him. I bend down and kiss him. I pull back slightly and look into his eyes. They're hungry and full of want. When I don't move he lunges forwards and our lips crash together. His hands come to my shirt and yank it quickly over my head. I laugh against his mouth and he grunts in protest.

"Our room."

I whisper and he pushes me towards the door that leads to it. The door opens and he pushes me through and onto the bed. He kicks the door shut and looks down at me. I grin at him and he rolls his eyes before walking over and taking place over me. His hands on either side of my head. He looks down at me before speaking up.

"I love you. You know that?"

I feel my face flush at his comment.

"I- I know. I love you too."

He leans down until his lips are inches above mine.

"I wish I didn't have to leave you but I do. This is our last night together for a year. Are you sure you'll be okay?"

I nod.

"It'll be hard but i'll be okay. Let's have tonight."

"Tonight."

He confirms, leaning down the rest of the way.
