Chapter 10
Blake's P.O.V
"Are you fr*aking kidding me?!" Bre shouted.
I shook my head wearily, "She was wearing the same thing when she came over."
"Figures," Bre grumbled.
I look over at Grace. She seemed very tired and annoyed by the subject, "Who the h*ll cares?" she exclaimed, "The point is, is that Jake Wells is no longer in my life!"
Bre stopped grumbling and was now grinning, "H*ll yeah he's not!" She high-fived Grace and they both started giggling.
I smiled to myself. I'm glad Grace isn't upset anymore. Her cheeks were finally rosy red again and not pale and tearstained from crying. Then a thought came into my mind, "And Lisa Briggs is out of mine!" I couldn't help but smile a little at this fact.
"Thank God," Adam mumbled.
The girls started giggling and I rolled my eyes at him, "Thanks for the support, man."
Adam chuckled, "Bro, I told you I didn't like her from the start."
I sighed, "Yeah..." If only I'd listened to him.
Just then, Marcy came in with a tray holding four glasses of iced tea and a giant bowl of popcorn. "Help yourselves, guys," she said while placing the tray on the floor between us. "And no popcorn fights this time," she added while glaring at Grace and Bre. They both crossed their arms and grumbled for a moment before taking a glass of iced tea.
We had a light conversation going as we ate and we eventually decided to watch a movie. Grace came into the room with two discs in a Netflix cd case. "Okay, so my mom rented I Am Legend and The Blind Side."
"Oooo! Let's watch The Blind Side!" said Bre, "I love that movie."
"Yeah, I'm for The Blind Side too," agreed Grace.
"I'm going with I Am Legend," said Adam.
All heads turned to me as I thought, "The Blind Side sounds good," I finally said.
