"So this is home," Harry said as he staggered into his apartment, holding about a million things and watched a handsfree Draco Malfoy sauntered in.
"Small, but homely, wheres my room?" Draco said as he watched Harry place the baby carrier holding a sleeping baby on the floor.
"Well, I didn't know you were going to move in with me, I was planning for just Teddy, so right now um a sofa bed pulls out of here," Harry replied, getting quieter and quieter as he referenced to the sofa.
"Oh great, the baby has a better accommodation than I do!" He shouted, but then realised his mistake as Harry's eyes grew wide to the stirring baby, who instantly started screaming his head off. Harry ran over to the baby and held him in his arms, shushing him while glaring at his new roommate. He didn't ask to have joint custody, it was suggested and it solved all the problems. Plus they could always split custody when he was older and the extra pair of hands will definitely help. Harry took the sniffling baby and placed him in his cot. This little baby was now the last remnants of his family, his godson. Someone who he thought he'd see every few weeks, not every day, not every second.
"I guess that makes Malfoy the odd one out as he still has parents somewhere." He sighed. Life was definitely not in his favour. Harry had lost everyone. He'd have to be the one to hold this baby when he cries, soothe him when he's in pain, hold him while he processes the truth of his parents. At eighteen years of age, he'd become someone's life source and that petrifies him.

"So, now what," Harry whispered as he sat down next to Draco on the sofa.
"Is it bad that I'm scared to literally breathe in case I wake him up again?" Draco asked in an even quieter whisper. "Is this our life now, awkward sitting for the next eighteen years?"
"Nah, Mrs Weasleys coming round later to teach us the do's and donts of parenting. Plus, I've been studying!" Harry said as he brought out a stack of books with obscure titles and fake looking babies on them.
"Good, cause I have too." Draco said, emerging a similar pile but with sticky notes hanging out of the dog-eared pages.
"Wow, Teddy shall be raised perfectly," Harry said with an awkward laugh. How the hell had he ended up co-parenting with Draco Malfoy?

"By any chance, do you know how to build all these baby things?" Harry asked, referencing to the baby carrier, a chair that bounces and many toys.
"Nope, you can have that job while I figure out how this thing works so we can be prepared when he's hungry." Draco said as he held up a bottle steriliser. Harry rolled his eyes, how did people do this before the invention of machinery? How do wizards live without all this machinery?
"Maybe you should leave all muggle things to me, I don't want you blowing up my home!" Harry said as he tried to grab the machine. Draco pulled back.
"No! I'm going to have to use it one day so as you build those things, I'll make this." Draco whispered in a sharp tone. Harry watched Draco walk into the kitchen, looking quizzingly at the device. Harry chuckled and got to work on his things.

He'd built the baby carrier and was just starting to make the chair, when a piercing scream filled the apartment, making both of them jump.
"I'll go! I got a bottle ready so I'll be able to save the day this time." Draco shouted before running into Teddy's room and bringing out the banshee sounding baby. Harry decided to watch this one, already knowing the comedic value. Draco sat down at the kitchen island and began to feed Teddy.  A look of extreme joy blossomed on Draco's face as the baby suckled greedily. Hary watched for a second. Seeing Draco and the baby, formed butterflies in his chest, ones he couldn't explain. It was a beautiful sight. A grin erupted on Harry's face as well as he returned to trying to get a toy out of its plastic boxed restraints. However, the perfection didn't last long, as it was broken by a groan and many not child-friendly words from Draco's mouth. Harry looked up and burst into a fit of laughter. Draco Malfoy had baby sick running down his pristine shirt and a look of horror plastered on his face. He held the baby away from him in horror and looked as if he was on the verge of tears.
"Potter, it did a thing. Get it away." He said slowly as if he was afraid Teddy would throw up again.  Harry, who was nearly in tears from laughing took the baby and finished burping him.
"Go clean up, I'm fine for a minute. The bathrooms in my room at the end of the hall." He laughed as he watched Draco practically fly down the hall. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad after all.
