There's A Hope Waiting In The Dark

Chapter 15

"For saving me." She said pecking my lips and walking back inside. I know I saved her from an abusive relationship and helped her heal but, I couldn't have done that much could I?

I went back in the room to change into my black skinny jeans and maroon button up and I picked out Jessica a maroon dress to put on with a note saying " wear this my beautiful." So she would see it when she got out the shower. After I got dressed I walked back out to the balcony. I was looking over the city. I love this place so much. Every time we were on tour after a show I'd always find a building that had an open room and go sit on the roof and look at the city for hours. I felt a pair of tiny hands rest of my stomach and hug me from behind.

"I'm ready, babe." I heard Jess's voice say. I turned around and wrapped my arms around her pulling her close.

"You look beautiful Jess." I said kissing her forehead.

"Thank you, you look incredibly sexy yourself." She ran running her hands down my chest.

"You better stop that or the only slight you'll see is the sheets of the bed." I said grabbing her hands and putting them to rest on my shoulders and I wrapped my hands around her waist, pulling her in for a kiss.

"You make it sound like that's bad." She said rubbing his shoulders.

"Come on before that happens." I said pulling her back into the room towards the hallway.

"Ugh you're no fun." She said and I flipped her around and threw her on the bed, and kissed her lips.

"Who's no fun?" I said smirking as she was all of a sudden breathless.

"No one." She said and I pulled her up and we walked to the elevator.

"If you could go anywhere in NYC where would you go?" I asked her holding her hand.

"Times Square? I don't know, I know there's a lot to see but I don't really know what's good to see."

"Times Square it is baby." Then the elevator dinged and opened for us to get in. The elevator ride was quite. She was embracing the view of the city at night. She's so beautiful, her reaction to the city lights is one of my favorite sights to see. The elevator dinged and we stepped out.

"You ready to be amazed?" I asked Jess.

"I already am." She said.

"I know you look beautiful." I said grabbing her and kissing her.

"Logan! Paparazzi!" She pushed away and said in a low voice.

"I don't care anymore I want the world to know about you." I said grabbing her hand.

••••• Fifteen Minutes Later •••••

The walk to Times Square was dark and quite, peaceful almost. When you get there it's lit up by the lights, stores, and billboards. Times Square is blinding. Everyone is laughing and smiling. Strangers meeting for the first and probably the last times. Every square inch is filled with family and friends. Everywhere where you turn there are stores, filled with people. There's billboards everywhere with famous people filling the screens, moving as if they were really there. Everyone talking and music playing blows through the cool brisk air. Times Square at night is blinding. It's beautiful and chaotic. There's barely enough room to take a picture of two people.

"Logan it's beautiful. All of the lights, it's magical."

"Excuse me sir can you take our picture." Logan asked a stranger.

"Yeah sure man" the kind stranger said taking out picture and handing his phone back too him. Logan pulled me to him and kissed me.

"Lets go into this store!" Logan said pulling me into a store. I couldn't tell which one; I didn't have time to look at the name.

"Logan what store are we in!" I said pouting at him.

"It doesn't matter. Don't look at the price just pick some things out." He said smiling.

"No. You know me and I will never do that, not in here." I said realizing now that we are in Kate Spade.

"Yes you will. Come on." He said pulling me through the people at the front of the store. It's mid November now so it's all cold and snowy outside, everyone's all wrapped up in jackets, scarves, and gloves. I on the other hand, had a light sweater on over my dress but I stayed as close to Logan as possible sometimes even standing in his jacket.

"Logan.... you know how I feel about you spending money on me."

"Jessicaaaaaaa... you know how much I love to spend money on you." He said laughing.

"Ugh you're so difficult." I said rolling my eyes

"Yes I am. Now shop til you drop and no looking at price tags." He said. Every time I went to pick out something I like Logan would go hold the price tag so I couldn't see it then hold once I decided if I liked it or not. I got two coats, two pairs of pajamas, a phone case, and a wallet before I told Logan I refuse to pick anything else out.

"Okay fine. I won't make you shop anymore.. in here." He said knowing it was making me mad.

"You're crazy." I said smiling like a idiot.

"Are you hungry?" Logan said grabbing me from behind making us waddle like penguins.

"Kinda. It's super cold out here. I'm so used to Southern California." I said with my lip quivering.

"Well here then. We'll go get you some warmth." He said wrapping me in his leather jacket and directing me toward a restaurant.

"How many are dining tonight?" The hostess asked us as we walked in.

"Just two." Logan said grabbing my hand.

"I'm surprised you haven't been recognized yet." I whispered in his ear as the hostess lead us to a table.

"There have been a couple people that noticed me but we're too scared to come talk to me." Logan voice said low and towards my ear so no one realized who he was. We were doing good without getting mauled by people.

"Here is your table, enjoy!" The hostess said and walked away after placing our menus in front of us.

"Jessica." Logan said and his eyes grew huge.

"What? Logan?" I said when I tried to turn around he protested by giving me little "ch ch ch" and "sh sh sh" noises.

"You spoke too soon when you said they didn't find us. All I want is to eat in peace with my girl."

" FOUND HIM! OH MY GOD ITS ACTUALLY LOGAN FROM BTR!" A girl screamed running to our table. She noticed my present and was immediately disgusted.

A/N: Uh oh.... they've been found...... WHAT HAPPENS? Lol y'all gotta wait a wholeeee week while I already know 😂.

Besides me leaving y'all with an enormous cliff hanger how is everyone? I hope you're all well..

So it's Friday. And Ariana's No Tears Left To Cry was released today and I seriously don't have anymore to cry because I've cried them all out over that song. It's beautiful go listen to it. 💧💧💧

I want to try to update either this book or Fixing Myself twice a week when I get out of school and have time to write and focus on just Wattpad. Which is in a couple weeks. I'm going to try to pre-write a lot of stuff in order to start doing that...
