Hi :) There's a bit of violence in this chapter, but I don't think it's anything you have to worry about if you don't like reading that kind of stuff. A couple choice words might pop up as well. Just a little heads-up ! I hope this isn't too boring or cliché xx -CaylenCloud1999
P. S: This chapter is really long, sorry

"More band shirts? Really?" Gemma rolls her eyes as she placed a few shirts on the counter next to mine.
"I like bands and I like shirts," I shrug.
"Are these separate or together?" the girl behind the counter asks, giving us an annoyed look. She seemed about in her twenties and I could tell she hated her job.
"Separate," I answer and she snorts, jabbing her fingers onto the buttons of the cash register.
"Twelve seventy two," she sighs, holding her hand out to retrieve my money. I give it to her and she jams it into what didn't look like the correct places.
Once Gemma had paid for hers and we were finally out of the small store, we sat down at a bench. "Hey, do you want anything to eat?"
"No thanks," I shake my head.
"Alright, well, I'm gonna go find something. Do you want to come with me or.." She began slowly getting up from the bench.
I stand up with her and say, "No, I'm gonna look around in there," pointing to a store that sold hats.
She reluctantly replied, "Okay, I'll meet you back here in a few minutes," then walked off.
I walked across the floor and into the small store. The smell of new hats corrupted my nose and I wrinkled it in disgust, but I trudged farther inside.
"Hi, is there anything I can help you with?" I turn around and meet a tall guy with curly black hair and too many tattoos to count.
"I'm just looking around..thanks," I say quietly and quickly walk away. One person and my nerves are already kicking in. God, I'm pathetic.
"And then I was like, 'go run to your precious mummy, faggot'." I hear from the aisle next to me and then laughter afterwards.
"What did he do then?"
"He ran away crying!" a familiar voice says, then more laughing followed. My breath hitched in my throat and my nerves skyrocketed. The Rule Breakers were less than a meter away from me.
"Hey, I'm gonna check this aisle over here," I hear, then a few okay's. Fear took over me and I speed walked to the next aisle over and hid behind a rack of football-team snapbacks.
I peaked around the side and watched one of the Rule Breakers scan the shelves of hats. He made a few faces at some of them and tried a couple different ones on. He didn't find what he was looking for and went back to his group.
"Nothing?"
"Nothing."
"Did you check that one over there?" If she was pointing anywhere, I was praying it wasn't in my direction. I stood up and hurriedly glanced around the shelves before grabbing a Los Angeles snapback and putting it on. My level of incognito is at it's all time low right now.
I walked past the aisle that the Rule Breakers were in, turning my head to the right so they couldn't see my face. I need to just get out of this store.
I made my way to the front desk and took the hat off of my head. "How much for this?"
"5 pounds," he smiles and I quickly dig the money out of my pocket. I hand it to him and he says, "Thanks, have a nice day!"
