I woke up with my head on Liam's chest and his arm wrapped around my body, securing me with both safety and warmth.

"Good evening, sunshine," Liam chuckled. His chest moved slightly when he laughed and I smiled.

"I think you should teach a cuddle class and make people get better at cuddling," I whispered breathily.

"That..made no sense," he laughed and began running his thumb over the small of my back, sending chills up my spine. "I think you should go back to sleep."

"How long have I even been asleep?" I lift my head up and rest my chin on his chest so I could look into his eyes.

"We've been sleeping for about 3 hours. You still look tired," he smiled. I breathed out a laugh and dropped my head back on his chest, closing my eyes.

"I am," I mumbled and fingered the hem of Liam's shirt sleeve.

"You two are awfully close." Liam and I jumped at the sound of Niall's voice and craned our necks to watch him sit on the sofa across from us.

"Just a friendly cuddle," Liam shrugged and I nodded my head with a tiny sigh.

"Actually, you two have been rather close for the past week," Niall narrowed his eyes at our intwined figures and leaned forward with his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands.

"Yeah, your point?" I ask breathily, closing my eyes and returning my head to Liam's warm chest.

"Am I missing something?" Niall then leaned back in the sofa and crossed his right leg over his left, staring at us with curious eyes.

"Why are you here, anyways?" I opened one eye to look at Niall and he shrugged. Of course, he isn't going to give me an actual answer.

"Well," Liam sighs and raises his hands in the air, letting out a massive yawn. "Should we cook dinner?"

"After you go brush your teeth," I giggle and cover my hand over his mouth. He squinted his eyes at me, then licked my hand. "Ew, you bitch!"

I jumped up from the couch and wiped my hand off while Liam sat laughing and Niall stared between us, trying to make sense of our newly built connection.

"I have the nerve to give you a big kiss right on the nose, just so you can smell it," Liam informs me. He stood up and arched his back and I heard it crack from across the room.

"Okay, hold on. I thought you two like, hated each other? Or you at least weren't this close a week ago," Niall looked back and forth between us, still entirely confused.

"Just don't question it, Niall," Liam sighs and ruffles his hair. He really enjoyed messing up people's hair. "Now, who wants fajitas?"

"What's a fajita?"

"Are you kidding me?" Liam laughs and stares at me with a surprised expression, like not knowing what a fajita was is the craziest thing he'd ever heard.

"No..I really have no idea," I frown. "Sorry."

"Nothing to apologize for, it's okay. You'll see what they are after I've made them." I gave him a weak smile before he left the room, entering the kitchen.

"Ashley." I looked up at Niall, who seemed worried. He swallowed and glanced at the door Liam had walked out of. "Is..is Liam okay?"

"Um..yeah, why?" I heard soft humming coming from the kitchen and pointed in the direction. "See, he's humming."

"Exactly. Look," Niall shook his head and came up to me, placing his hands on my shoulders. "Has he said anything to you about anyone? A girl, maybe?"
